We ate there on May 27 2023. The brisket was very good as always. However, the quantity of food for the price was disappointing. A 1 meat combo plate was $15, this included 2 small sides and 2 slices of brisket that were about 4-5 inches in length. This is a huge change in price and quantity, maybe this was because the Blues Festival was going on. The last time we ate there was about 7-8 months ago and I do not recall this to be the case. However, we will not be eating there anymore because we cannot justify the price for the quantity.

First time try Iron Door, and it was an amazing experience. Friendly staff (including an adorable pup that hangs out outside), delicious bbq pulled pork sandwich, smoked mac n cheese was bomb, and the coleslaw was great. Definitely give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed!

It’s the best “Austin-Franklins-Muellers” style beef ribs I’ve had in all of New Mexico…… I bought a pound worth of beef ribs-two 6″-7″ ribs with A great combination of singed fat, salt/pepper bark and juicy/flavorful meat…. I also bought the Mac and cheese which was really good….. I do this once or twice a month I drive 55 miles each way from Deming New Mexico because the ribs are that good and also gives me time to spend the day in the wonderful city of Silver City…. a small “artsie-fartsie” community With a few great restaurants, several art galleries, two great antique places and just a cool vibe
