Outstanding food. The tomato sauce is truly homemade. The food is served hot, to your table. The lasagna is the best I’ve had. The spaghetti and meatballs is wonderful – the meatballs are large and excellent. Do yourself a favour/favor.

Got married at Mt. Baker last Friday, and my husband and I wanted to take our family to a nice dinner to celebrate after. Richard, his wife, and the staff at Rifugio’s made our experience exactly what we wanted! They were quick to communicate with us when we initially made our reservation and recommended a family style meal for 8 people. Everything was phenomenal and everyone was so attentive, friendly, and welcoming! The kale salad and the meatballs were hits. We were happy to have our wedding night dinner here. Hoping to be back in the area sooner rather than later to eat another delicious meal here!

Currently sitting at the bar in a daze. The food is divine. No exaggeration. The beef stew was both hardy and exquisite. The mushroom Ragu was exemplary. The restaurant was run by a server and a cook, both made us feel like old welcomed friends, and poured us generous servings. Five star experience all around, maybe the best Italian food I’ve ever had, and I’m Italian so that’s saying a lot. More home cooking than fine dining, and in the best way. Highly recommend.

Visited here many years ago. I was reminded of the visit recently and I’m happy to see they are still thriving. It is a surreal experience – a top notch, gourmet restaurant literally on the edge of wilderness. Divine dining in a divine setting.

No-guilt delicious pasta after a day of snowboarding! Very tasty, exactly what we needed after the day of riding workout. The meatball is the biggest meatball I have ever seen 🙂 really enjoyed the experience

We had dinner here as part of a wedding celebration. The food was outstanding, as well as the service and atmosphere. The owner was so warm and welcoming and spent time talking with us. We would highly recommend this restaurant and was worth the long drive to get here.

What a wonderful meal we had to celebrate our wedding! We picked up an order for 25 people and we were all blown away by how delicious the food was! Richard and Candice were great to work with to give a meal that would work for all our guests. We had dietary restrictions that were deliciously accommodated. The wild mushroom lasagna was hands down the best lasagna we’ve ever had, not to mention the penne and meatballs, sautéed vegetables, and chocolate tiramisu were all wonderful as well. I look forward to eating with them again!
