I was happy to see they reopened until I ordered a sandwich. The sandwich was ready when I arrived, the scowl on the face of the lady working there was priceless. When I opened the sandwich the lettuce was browner than it was green and the roll was stale. Thank god the sub rolled over on its own so I could see the sub roll was moldy on the bottom. I’m new to Vermont and someone told me that this place had the best cheese steaks. To be honest it was just ok to me. The meat was overcooked, cheese was like plastic and I ordered peppers on it and I think I received 1 slice. The fries were ok while they were hot. The onion rings were the best of thing I had from there.

Best sub in Winooski, hands down. Enormous and delicious. The folks behind the counter are fantastic. The selection of groceries is somewhat lacking, but enough to get by for sure. Oh, and creemees! Corner location with large sign is easy to find. Street parking. Empanada specials! A great neighborhood corner store and deli.
