A couple months ago my husband, daughter and I stopped here to dine in. There were no other patrons eating in at the time but there was a person leaving when we were heading inside. The worker that was taking care of the front register took a couple of minutes to realize that we were there. Then she seemed put out when she noticed us and told the other workers that were out of sight that she had customers in a rude type of manner. After ordering and getting our food we were lacking the ranch dipping sauce so I went up to get some and again had to wait a little while. Then my husband had to go up for something and “interrupt” a personal conversation between the worker and a friend or relative that showed up. There was a lot of horsing around going on with at least three of the workers. The manager on shift had to tell the worker/cashier to clean something up repeatedly. So sorry I stopped here to eat in!

I was very excited about this McDonalds opening in Canton, but thus far I have been less then thrilled, and everyone I talk to has the same experience. The service is very slow, and the employees don’t seem well trained (not their fault) on the equipment, and the design of the building is also bad. If you do a mobile order and park in one of the mobile spots, you are blocked in by the drive thru if there is any kind of line. I have used mobile ordering a few times, and each time they have either not had my order (despite it showing still on the app) or said mobile ordering was not working. I will give it another try before writing this location off completely, but unless the management gets it together, it would be quicker to drive to the Potsdam location and come back.

We appreciate we have a McDonald’s in the village and appreciate your service. But folks can you please pay attention to the order details. This type of operation errors happened too many times. E.g. in the picture, we ordered the double quarter pounder but the burger we got only included one pattie.

If you are staying at a hotel near by and decide to walk over they will not serve you after 10 and threaten you with the police if you attempt to purchase food without a car so they don’t have to get up and actually do there job

I ordered a Mcdouble with no pickle and small coke with light ice. Myorder came out while I sat in my car for 10 minutes. When my food came out I got no drink, medium fries, hamburger wrapped in a Mcdouble. I took it apart and 1 hamburger with a pickle on it.
