Over Presidents’ Day holiday weekend 2023, we enjoyed a very nice lunch at Carol’s Restaurant at Baily Winery. Delicious Reuben sandwich, Baily’s Salad, Kennebec french fries and a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. It was Dog Day Sunday so Bella & the other pups munched on chicken with peanut butter. Entertainment on the outdoor patio included live music.

This was an easy 5-star review. The salmon Caesar salad was so yummy. We liked the friend artichoke hearts. Make sure to get the raspberry cheesecake too. Chairs could be improved a little, but overall great food and a great first experience

Pretty middle of the road. The decor is mideval in style, so cute imo. The view is lovely from outside. When we ate lunch there was love music that greatly enhanced the experience. On Sundays they have a dog menu, which is adorable, so we had plenty of pups around!

Food is amazing. Prep is a little slow but didn’t mind one bit bc the singer, Sandy, was so amazing. What a range! Great music selection and beautiful voice. Wonderful ambiance. Food was delicious, reasonably priced and generously portioned. An absolute must when in Temecula.

So we live in Temecula and it’s hard to find places to eat on the weekends that don’t have 2 hour waits, especially in the wineries that are packed with tourists. I’ve actually never been to Carol’s but we decided to give it a try and we loved it. Didn’t have a wait which could be a bad sign but it was so nice to not have to deal with the hustle. It’s not all trendy and has a medieval character to it. Hostess/server was perfectly sweet and attentive. Our food was fresh, hot and delicious. We enjoyed some live music and cozy outdoor patio seating. I would definitely recommend to locals who haven’t already stopped in.
