They are very unfriendly, and can’t understand what you say. The young woman up front is the worst. Super small portions for combination platters and no egg rolls with platters. Rice has very little meat in it, and only a little onion, no other vegetables. Chicken doesn’t seem fully cooked. It’s worth traveling to get better food. Since I moved to this area none of the people at the Chinese restaurants seem to be friendly, but this place is the worst.. no veggies or egg in their rice.

I miss buffet . Good food but more expensive since they dnt offer buffet . Don’t eat here as often because of the lack of buffet now. We used to travel 30 mins just to eat buffet here now we eat here maybe 2 times a year it used to be once a month.

I was in town, visiting family when we decided to stop in to have dinner together. I had never eaten at the Red Flower Chinese Restaurant before but the family had and had never had any issues before. We arrived two hours before closing with the intentions of eating the buffet. We went in and had to seat our selves. A minute later, our server came and took our drink order and then walked off to fill it. We then went to the buffet to get a plate of food. They were low on plates, having only a couple left and had an odd mix of metal and plastic silverware. As we proceeded to move along the buffet it was quite noticeable how bare it was. Most pans were either empty, near empty, or had been sitting there for some time.

The lady on the phone was very rude to me when I asked if they had orange chicken for the lunch special. I then said okay the sweet and sour chicken because it is on the lunch special. She said we have no lunch specials anymore to pass time I said it’s noon. she hung up on me. Very poor customer service. And that’s not good because the food is only mediocre

It’s a small place, but relieving in a small town like Big Stone Gap with only fast food restaurants surrounding it. It’s a small buffet, but the selection is pretty nice for what it is. The food is always good and they are quick to refill stuff when it gets low. Especially popular items like the vegetable lo-mien. The price is very good for a buffet.

The only Asian food restaurant in town and it is good, really good actually. The service on this particular visit was very good. The young lady was aware of all her tables and the buffet without hovering. The only downside was that several items on the buffet were either low or empty and they were slow in getting more out. In all fairness this was an off-peak time. Overall visit was very pleasant.
