Decided to stop in here for some sushi and a quick lunch bite to eat for the family. We ordered off the lunch menu which gives you a choice of sushi, all fresh and good. We also ordered some spring rolls, fried dumplings and edamame, all good!

This is only the second in the Momiji chain that I’ve tried. I had the lunch combo at Hyacinth location. Both rolls were excellent that I had (Chili Chil Bang Bang & Kenji) although the Miso soup was very salty. So I came here also with a friend and we both got the all-you-can eat. I loved what choices from all categories on the menu that could be included in your selections other than rolls & Nigiri. Although the server was excellent, we both immediately were aware of the poor construction of several of the rolls. The Chil Chil Bang Bang and the Kenji rolls were dry & split making them fall apart which made them very difficult to eat. Although we tried a variety of other rolls, many of them tasted very similar which should be addressed since each roll should stand out to justify selecting it over another. Sadly, I had loved the Sunomono or chopped cucumbers marinated in sweet rice vinegar at the Hyacinth location, but here it was profoundly bitter. There was no sweetness at all in the dish. It was shockingly bitter as if it would be dangerous to eat even if you could eat it. We sent it back and it was removed from our six choices. All in all, I can only assume it was the cooks for this evening, since I had such a fine fare at the other location. I probably won’t be coming back to this one in the chain.

I picked up a to go order of unagi and a double shrimp roll. I was disappointed to say the least. Both orders were paced tightly in one container with the shrimp roll absorbing the moisture ftom the unagi. The rice was too wet so my roll fell apart while eating.

I come here at least once most weeks! It’s the best in town for sushi. The staff is fantastic and they always make me feel welcome when I come in. It feels like a nice family when I go in, everyone seems to get along really well. They decorate for holidays, etc, and it always looks so lovely and gives me something new to look forward to. Easily my favorite place to eat on the weekends.

Horrible service. Waiting along with at least 2 others. The waitress did not even say Hello. She proceed to ask who had been helped she took the first name and walked away. After returning she asked our names she went back while the food has been sitting there entire time. Then … I forgot my coupon at home .. I had to drive all the way back home for a cupon that’s states you have to MENTION this coupon before ordering which i did . No where on it does it sayi must bring it in. I order a lot from Momiji and it has always so nice sad to see the service decline.

I am sad to say, I was not impressed with how the staff “cleaned” the table. Using a menu as a cloth and swiping the stuff on the floor, just seems gross. The food was good, but I am now concerned with the cleanliness and won’t be returning.

I have ordered “Gluten Free” Poke Sauce twice before, but this time I was told “I never heard of that”. This is why I have come back several times. My Gluten Free Poke sauce request is not difficult. They just use their gluten free soy instead of their usual soy. Anyway, the person that took my order and gave me my order was, in my opinion, very snotty. Her attitude of “I never heard of that” carried in her service from the phone call to pick up. Some re-education may be needed on customer service and not acting as if a customer is trying to ruin their day by eating there. I can give her name upon request.

I love this place! The sushi is exquisite and the service is pretty pleasant as well 🙂 I’m a huge fan of “environment is everything” and might I say that the rose petals put the finishing touch on this place! What beautiful artwork to grace such a place. And just the right amount of garland too. It leaves me wondering what local artist or interior designer has been hiding in Salem.

Just bring a rechargeable blender cup and you can feed your baby whatever you want to. Just be aware of any new foods with possible allergies! Our dish was the variety rolls. Every single one tasted amazing.
