Great place to taste Indian food at downtown San Francisco! We had lunch buffet at this place and there were 12-16 dishes apart from 2 desserts and Salad bar. Food tastes great specially chicken tandoori, butter chicken, beef curry and the gulab jamun is just awesome! However, there naan bread hardens very fast as it cools while you are yet to finish it. This place has a nice environment, clean bathroom and very well behaved staff. Paid street parking available and we it was around $3 for 2 hours iirc. Overall I do recommend this place!

We came for lunch at noon but looks so quiet here. food is good, service is great with reasonable price. Hopefully they will be busy after we left. Previous review said about buffet but we guess the buffet is distant memory. Also get ready to dance while you eat. After the meal, I found myself on top of the table dancing to the incredible music playing in the background.

I needed a meal after visiting the Indian embassy around the corner and was reluctant to go in because the reviews said that they did not have a buffet, but I found that they have recently resumed the buffet. Fresh piping-hot naan is brought directly to your table which is a nice touch that other Indian buffets lack these days. I suggest ordering a mango lassi to go with your meal. So good! There menu is already helpful by showing you which items are vegan, but I talked to someone (a really nice woman, not sure if she’s an owner or family) and she explained that nothing is pre-made to the point that it can’t ALL be made vegan! It’s the first time I’ve had naan in over 7 years! So friendly and the food is so good and it’s just down the street from my lady’s place so we’re definitely going back!

A really good Indian food place right in the heart of city, with accessible parking. All around the food was delicious with both mutton and chicken cooked to perfection, A cherry on top is that they make their Kulfi in-house and is an ultimate way to end your meal here. I would recommend it to all as restaurant which delivers more than you pay for!
