While on my way out to the east end of Long Island, I came across a hidden gem. The Tavern, an experience in dinning. If you didn’t know this restaurant was there you would pass it by. I’m glad I took the time to try it. The ambiance of a medieval times, set the mood. It was like walking into a castle. The food presentation was impressive and the taste did not disappoint. I’ve gone back for lunch on the patio as well. The lobster roll was delicious and perfectly paired with the wine. It is a hidden secret to most and well worth the try for all. We had dinner at the North Tavern a couple times recently as we were looking for a venue for a rehearsal dinner. Both times we ate there the food was first class and the service was outstanding. So we decided to use the North Tavern for the rehearsal dinner. We could not have made a better decision. Brian and his team were so attentive, and the food was awesome! Everyone loved the food, service, and facility. We had a great night! I highly recommend the North Tavern for both dinners and private events.

My sister and brother in law live in Wading River. We decided to give the North Tavern a try. Glad we did. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the pastrami sandwich, which was fantastic, as were the wings that we ordered as an appetizer. I liked the menu. Enough options to be interesting and meet your mood, but not so many options as to be overwhelming. The server was a pleasure. Atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing Saturday evening meal. It’s a tad noisy, which is my only minor complaint. They could use something to soak up some sound as the floors are wood. Overall, this was a great experience. My sister and her husband were likewise impressed with the Tavern and we expect to visit again.

Held my daughters bridal shower there this weekend. Service, food, venue was phenomenal! Brian has a great team. Menu was definitely created with every tastebud in mind. They were a pleasure to work with and really made the day special.

This is not one of your typical taverns. The things that it has to offer our magnificent food and wonderful service. The owner are happy to go out of their way in order to please you and those make you feel extremely comfortable. Last night (9 Jun ’23), our 2d time here for dinner, this time with out-of-state friends. Had a most delicious salmon w/ lobster Special & asparagus . Savory, moist, perfectly cooked. Other fantastic dish was the seafood rissoto (fish, shrimp, +?) which our friend said was the BEST she had ever had. We’re not artists nor fussy, but all 4 meals were Beautifully presented. Our host Beth treated us like royalty, making sure any & all desires and requests were met. A wonderful & most peaceful easy evening, with the MOST delicious food. Hats off to the chef(s) & staff.

The service here is bar none!! The food was amazing too!! The man who greeted us at the door, gave us a champagne drink, served us hors d’oeuvres, and checked on us several times throughout our meal, wasn’t even our server!

Super busy on Saturday at 7:30pm. Made reservations but table wasn’t ready for about 15 minutes. That’s okay, it happens. But bar area was super tight & we were in the path of the waitstaff. There was a private party going on, so that could’ve been a factor. It was loud – hard to hear conversations at times. Food was good, not exceptional. Choices felt a little limited.

Delightful restaurant on north country road in wading river with water views across NCR. Interesting menu, splendid service., I enjoyed the tap room and dining room with fireplace. Service was friendly, efficient and professional. Definitely worth the trip north.
