First time check-in. I knew this place long time ago but never step in due to the bad review and non Chinese recommendations. Of course cant expect traditional Chinese food but still better than wt i imagine before，especially the lettuce wrap. Service well done enough for me.

Spent 5 minutes scrubbing and cleaning their high chair so my toddler could eat in a clean environment. Not one but all of their high chairs were disgusting and I would argue have never been cleaned. Not sure how this happens since Pei Wei cleans up after customers leave.

This guy as a cashier is one of the most welcoming and happiest people whom I met at restaurants in the US. He was very helpful for my order because I had some trouble placing an order online. I can feel his passion about what he was doing even though he was just doing the very basic things that millions of people are doing all the time. But just the uncomfortable moments that he is happy to interact with people, I feel happy about everything for today!

Modifying my review… the last several weeks they have opened late (30 min to an hour) and consistency of food has disappeared. Great lunch option. There is usually a $5 special entree which is a great value. As fast as fast food but better quality and cooked to order. Great food.

I ordered the “Pei Wei Original” with Beef and Brown Rice. All the ingredients were good except the Beef and Sauce. The Beef was exceptionally tough. The Sauce was very tart, too tart for my liking. I’ve had other menu items which were very good, this was not one of them. I also had the “Pork Egg Rolls”. They were good.

This place continues to get worse as time goes by. Service is extremely poor, and I am being modest. They have HS and College kids running the place and it shows. Dirty, unfriendly, and bad attitudes define the environment of this place. Here’s the summary of my last visit: There were 4 people behind me at the time I placed my order; all 4 people that ordered after me got their food first, and the waiter never even apologized to me for the delay, as she knew that I was skipped (my order took 35 minutes, so much for fast food concept).

I love the concept and I think the atmosphere is really nice. I’ve eaten there many times over the past years since they opened. I have to say that it has slipped in recent years, ever since they shrunk up their portions. DON’T order an appetizer if you want it to come out first, in the last three times that I ordered the pork roll appetizer it came out after my meal and twice literally seconds before my meal. The last time was the clincher for me, I ordered the caramel chicken and it came out raw. I asked for my money back and left the restaurant. That was the last straw for me. Was surprised that the manager didn’t try to apologize, just handed me the cash and out the door I went. That was my last visit to Pei Wei.
