The ambiance gets you right away before you’re even greeted by the wonderful staff. Next comes the menu, and delicious warm bread with salt crusted butter. Our waiter, Micheal, was sharp and knowledgeable which added to our experience. The French onion

Expensive, but expected. Stepping right off the street restaurant with reservations was louder than expected. If you want quiet, definitely look into sitting within the hotel. Very tasty experience. Lovely leather details. Extensive wine list, fun cocktails. Expected choices and some unique ones. All the food was divine in taste, not too salty, well portioned, well presented. Very limited for food allergies or gluten sensitivities. Wait staff, servers, and bussing staff all very courteous. Restrooms are far away in the hotel. Not bad. Just be away.

Food and drinks were incredible. Waiter was super friendly and helpful. Was it worth the extremely steep price? Probably not. But still an excellent meal. Can’t recommend the crème brûlée enough!!

Another nice restaurant, can’t go wrong in this town. However, they really need to improve their beer choices. Less IPAs and more dark beers please. Good and service both excellent.

Like many have said before; the food is good but it’s overpriced for the quality. I enjoyed the experience but wouldn’t go back, there are simply other places I enjoy much more for the same money (or less) in the area.

One of the best grilled octopus ever , it was melt in your mouth good. My husband ordered medium rare steak , they told him it was a little over and they asked if he wanted to try it. He said no , but that it would take 15 min for another one. They brought us a complementary salad and appetizer while we waited. He said it was worth the wait , steak was perfectly done.

Delicious meal. Best seafood tower we’ve ordered in some time. The strip steak was delightful, and our chopped salad was delicious with fried chickpeas.

From start to finish Salt and Char lived up to the hype! Matthew did an excellent job as our server. His guidance and well stated descriptions were on par with the level of expectation.

We love this restaurant! BUT, last year for dessert, you had on the menu a Samoa cheesecake, it was AWESOME!! So much so, that myself and entire family remember it and made our pilgrimage to Salt & Char this past weekend we had steak, asparagus, and Mac & cheese. The steak was perfectly done, medium – rare. But, no Samoa cheesecake. Instead we had a chocolate – covered pretzel cheesecake or some type of tart. It was not nearly as good as the Samoa cheesecake. PLEASE bring back the Samoa cheesecake and make it a “regular” in your dessert menu. Your Samoa cheesecake, which was epic. We’re looking forward to having it again, along with you’re wonderful, perfectly charred steak!

Many of the menu items at Salt & Char are the restaurant’s take on “classics”. However, the changes are certainly not improvements.
