Horrible, disgusting food. Check the photos. For $80 we expected much more. We ordered pasta primavera and it legitimately looks like hospital food. The other dish was chicken marsala, with the description saying it came with fettuccine (it didn’t). Both dishes were bland and tasteless. So disappointed as we have ordered from the Herndon location and the food was good there. I would avoid this place at all costs, unless you like flavourless food.

This place is awesome. The first thing I was struck by walking in was the noise level; practically nonexistent. It was really quiet, but no much as a library quiet, more like a fancy restaurant quiet (duh). The servers were really nice. Started off with the bruschetta alla napoletana (the bread with mozzarella and tomatoes). It was really awesome. The bread was toasted well, and the tomatoes were great. We also had the fried zucchini, which was great. I definitely recommend both of those. For entrees I had the shrimp fra diavolo. It was supposed to be spicy, but it wasn’t really. It ended up building to moderately spicy, but it wasn’t that bad. The flavor was really good, and the shrimp were perfectly cooked (I was able to take the tails off with no issues). My brother had the mostacciola all’arrabiata. He said it was really good. Mom had the white bean soup, that she really liked, and my grandma had a vegetable soup(special). My only complaint was the olive oil. It was pretty weak. I eat olive oil with my bread, but it just wasn’t awe inspiring. Besides that, the bread was awesome. Definitely recommend this place.

We love Cantina D’italia! The salad and bread is always so fresh. Tonight we had the chicken pasta Alfredo and lasagna— they were both perfect. I like that they do not overly salt or add too much cheese to the food. We add as needed. We love authentic Italian and this is it. Reminds of us of our many trips to Italy.

This is a nice Italian restaurant. The staff was pleasant and the food good. The portions were large and atmosphere enjoyable. Worth trying if you are in the neighborhood and have a desire for some Italian food.

The food here is amazing. Everyone I bring here loves it. I’ve never had a bad dish. My only “issue” is that the decor is tired and looks like it’s from a 1980s remodel. The booths make me feel like I am at Denny’s. The outdoor patio area is nice for meals (it is covered). Bottom line: food is delicious and worth a visit!

The food is consistently delicious. The wine was fabulous even when I accidentally bumped my full glass over. The service is gracious and conscientious. Cantina D’Italia is a local treasure!

Ate here for the first time today. Such a great spot for Italian food. We had the gnocchi and mozzarella caprese. We were craving desert after we left and they gifted us the tiramisu. Such a nice gesture! It was absolutely delicious. Excited to try other dishes next time.

Wow!!! Ate there for the first time tonight. It was absolutely yummy! I had the Chicken Parm, my wife had the veal marsala and mom had the manicotti. Chicken parm and veal marsala photos are attached. Mom had already dug into the manicotti before we started taking photos. All turned out amazing! House Chianti was really tasty as well. We will definitely be back.

Love this place! Excellent service and food. Each dish is very flavorful (but not salty). During the pandemic, I used to order food from here often, and even the delivery food was good. This place never disappoints me. A hidden gem for sure!
