Came here before they renovated and changed their name and menu. The food was excellent before the changes and still is currently! Large portion sizes, fair and affordable prices, and super friendly staff! Love the homemade tortilla with no extra charge! Sauces are readily available in dining room too. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

good service, bad quality of food, we told the manager but nothing was done. we got a mojara that was over cooked and half of the fish was missing, we didn’t eat the rice nor the salad because i would have liked to eat it with my fish. the dish was about $16 all the manager did was discount $2, not complaining about the price, just not happy of how the the situation was tooken care of. not asking for anything free but at least 1/2 of the price of the plate, or he could have offered to remake the fish. i didn’t notice till i flipped my fish over, that there was big chunks missing/ and over cooked. small business or not you should all pay attention to every dish the comes out the kitchen.

Highly recommend El Maiz to everyone! Tried them out today, food was delicious and came out really fast. The best part was that they make their corn tortillas from scratch and they are absolutely delicious. Prices were great as well. Service was amazing. Will be coming back again!

My brother-in-law suggested the Veggie ACP with added chicken. It was super delicious! I wish I had a picture to show y’all all those beautiful delicious veggies!!! The salsa was flavorful! They kept us in chips & salsa. The salsa bar was good too! My salsa bowl was almost empty, I turned around & it was full again!!! No wait! They truly know how to serve their customers! Very clean. I will be back to eat here again! The prices were very reasonable too!

This is on my top 5 for Mexican restaurants for the area. This is my first time here since the name change, and I was very impressed. The service is excellent, the food is amazing, and the soda was delicious and well carbonated. I had the Crazy Burrito and a Chicken Quesadilla, and they were both phenomenal. If you’re in the area and want to try a different Mexican restaurant then drop by; you will not be disappointed.
