This restaurant is so underrated! After moving to N.C. Three years ago I have yet to find a Mexican restaurant that compares. Every year on our visit we stop to pick up this AMAZING salsa to take home (if it even lasts the drive). My picky toddler finishes her plate every time and even drinks the salsa! This restaurant is filled with people who love and take so much pride in their food and customers. I look forward to next years salsa pickup! Thank you El Tequila family!

restaurant is dark, with lights burned out or not working. Food was sweet, and tasted mass produced, not made in store. The chimichanga was sweet, and soggy. Won’t go back again

El Tequila Mexican Grill and Cantina in Waseca, Minnesota was very welcoming and the service by our waiter was outstanding! The menu has a large variety of food. I ordered a Beef Chimichanga with a Beef Enchilada. We were served chips and salsa. The food was great! At the end, we noticed someone ordered deep fried ice cream. So we had to try it as well. Oh, now that was amazing! I will definately be back. And for added fun, they host every Saturday night bingo for a fundraising event at 7 p.m.

We have been here multiple times and have never been dissappointed. There are 3 Mexican restaurant in town, and each has something positive going for it but El Tequila is my favorite because while the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, the service is amazing. They are the only one of the three to serve Sangria, and it is awesome! Delicioso! My kids love their homemade salsa because it tastes so fresh, not like tomato paste. We haven’t tried dessert yet because we are always stuffed with excellent entrees. Try them out, you will be glad you did.

Fajita quesadilla I do not recommend because it taste like straight liver , the oil tasted old and the expense was not worth it. Me being Mexican this was not authentic at all.
