Employees were friendly and helpful. Dining room was clean and pleasant. Rest rooms were clean. For fast food, menu had large assortment of meals. We enjoyed the fish and shrimp meals. Servings were large and very tasty. Cole slaw and cream potatoes were very good. A must try.

So we walked to place a To-go order and the young lady at the register just stood there looking at us, no greeting, no how can I help you….. awkward right? Anyway, I love the tenders and the bread so we order. The food was good and fresh. I love the fact that the jalapeño peppers are ALWAYS crisp/crunchy and never soggy/soft. The rolls never let me down and I’m not a big bread eater but their rolls are addictive. We also tried the mini funnel cakes….. waste of money although a portion goes to local schools and teacher if I’m not most on the local part… Anyway the food was good the customer service, not so much….

Tiny tenders, most of them were half hard crunchy batter. The gravy was the lumpiest gravy I have ever had. Maybe if the employees were off their phones and focused on the quality of food it would be better. Can’t believe I paid $17 for garbage. Highly dissatisfied with this golden chick.

Tasty…very tasty….. The pairing of the wicked wings with the warm buttered dinner roll and dirty rice is a winner. The wings are crispy with a nice spicy bite. The wicked is a deal changer…deal maker…….this could propel Golden Chick into the lead for wings.

Soo if you decide to patronize this place, please know that the “catfish filets” are the size of Catfish nuggets. Highway robbery. I’ll never come back. I do mean never. No lemons or lemon juice packs available. Just a big no thanks. Honestly, not sure if this is franchise or corporate but I definitely want to let them know as well.

This location gets 5 stars based primarily on the manager. After a customer complained about his meal, the manager handled the situation with compassion and kindness. I mentioned it to him later and complimented him on how he handled the situation. His response was that “Life is too short to worry about stuff like that, and at the end of the day, my job is 90% customer service.”
