This place is an absolute hidden gem. The texmex staples here and breakfast are always fresh and well executed but there are a couple of absolute standout dishes that make this place a low-key DESTINATION. The platillo chester is served on a hot comal with a bed of tortillas smothered in fajita, pastor, and chorizo blanketed in melty cheese. As you wait for this molten hot plate of goodness to cool enough to be edible the tortillas on the bottom fry in the juice released from the meat and cheese and get perfectly crispy crunchy. Yes, it also comes with tortillas on the side. The other BANGER here is the Molcajete Abasolo. A bubbling hot molcajete filled with beef and chicken fajitas and nopal smothered in slightly spicy sauce (might be tomato might be like achiote might be both) with chunks of white cheese that melt nice and slow into/onto everything else. Remodeled I see. Looks nice. Salsa verde tasted off and way too spicy made me sick. The food was okay definitely not as good as it once was. Clean place and friendly staff.
