We went in for lunch between softball games. They were very inviting and told us about each sandwich that we had questions about. The food was fresh cut and everything was made from scratch. Definitely making it a stop when we in Iowa City. 3/5 stars if you know you know.

We had the best lunch today at Chefs Board. I had an amazingly silky and creamy roasted chicken and spinach soup along with a delicious chicken salad sandwich. We got to see the artistry that goes into creating a charcuterie board and I was even able to purchase one of their hand made charcuterie boards with a rich wooden grain. We had the best day and a huge part was the great food and friendly atmosphere at Chefs Board.

I popped by this adorable deli for lunch today and ordered the charcuterie sandwich. Tracy and his wife were a delight and as a self-proclaimed “sandwich snob” I can honestly say that it was the best sandwich I’ve had in Iowa. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu!
