Great customer service. I don’t eat cow skin and tripe so I called them and asked to remove. I received the order like I requested. This is honestly the smallest portion I have ever received in the states. Most restaurants have fish for the protein add on. But the egusi was extremely delicious so still a five star. I’m happy that there’s a Nigerian restaurant in Seattle. Will definitely visit in person or order again.

Should’ve known when the food arrived via delivery within 25 minutes that I’d made a terrible mistake. The beef was so rough it was indigestible and also had heavy overtones of ketchup. The lamb was a bit more tender and had remnants of spice but lacked salt seasoning and soul. I paid sixty five dollars for these two dishes and fufu. As a black person i desperately want to support good business but black people save your money. This isn’t it.

I just had my first take out order from here, and it was perfect. I ordered the Egusi with goat and fufu. It was exactly like I’ve had it in Nigeria. Delicious and I will absolutely be coming back to try something else very soon!

I had never tried Jollof Rice before, but have always heard my Nigerian friends talk about it, so I was pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant had opened in my neighborhood. I was doubtful that a simple rice dish with no meat could be flavorful, but I was so wrong! It was spicy (but not overpowering) and full of flavor. After eating my meal, I saw a bunch of other really interesting things on the menu I want to try, including a soup with cow skin. My absolute favorite food in the world is cow skin soup (the Jamaican version) and I don’t think I’ve ever seen another dish with cow skin in it in the US, so I can’t wait to see how the Nigerian version compares to the one I’ve enjoyed for years. Do yourself a favor and order from Pass the Jollof. You will be supporting a local business, you’ll meet a very kind person behind the counter (the owner, I assume), and you’ll have a great meal. I know I’ll be back!

I was excited to find West African food nearby. I just can’t make my egusi taste like I know it tastes when other people cook it. The jollof rice was great. No complaints except maybe there’s a way to make larger portions?

No 30-minute plus wait. You are notified before placing an order if they no longer have an item. It’s a grab and go type spot. The veggie pie did not have much seasoning but everything else was great! When they open up a restaurant, I will eat in. Y’all doing a great job here!

Oh man – such stellar flavors. I ordered the chicken stew with a side of jollof rice. Everything was delicious, and I worked up a decent sweat from the mild-but-persistent slow burn of the spice. This was my first time ordering from Pass D Jollof, but it won’t be my last.
