Wow! Great food, awesome service! Very friendly staff and manager welcomed us and kept us company while enjoying our meal in a clean and modern environment. Our server, I believe her name was Alexis, was a lot of fun answering all our questions and helped us celebrate our mother’s birthday with these delicious desserts – just look at those tasty bites! A bit pricier than some other local options, but well worth it for the flavor and value if your looking for a nice dinner out. Enjoy!

What a great place to stop and eat/drink! I had the Prime Rib Sandwich with fries which was excellent, over stuffed with beef and au jus to dip. The group had a cheese curd appetizer with two different sauces to dip. Ice cold beers, and amazing service from Lisa (…not Jody, inside joke with her). We’ll definitely be back…

Trust me when I tell you I’ve eaten a lot of cheese curds in my lifetime. I can tell you where all the good ones are. The cheese curds here should be declared the best. They’re fresh, they’re ooey and gooey. You can take a bite and pull that cheese to the length of your arm. It will melt in your mouth. Go there for the curds, stay for everything else.

THE BEST CHEESE CURDS EVER. We sought out Horse & Plow the first time we were in the area on our quest for the best cheese curds in Wisconsin and had to return on our second trip! We also tried the bacon flight this time and shared the warm cider donut. All were delicious – that donut was gone in 3 min! Drinks were creative and delicious also, albeit a bit pricey.

The food was great. I personally ate lunch and dinner there. With our large group, we had a majority of the menu between both occasions, and all was very satisfying. We left our cards regarding the ladies that took care of us, and we feel that you handled the situation very well. We look forward to coming back.

The food was a mixed bag. The cheese curds and burger were good, but the risotto was weirdly acidic.

Dined here a couple of years ago and wasn’t hugely impressed, so was reluctant to return the other night. Boy were we pleasantly surprised!! We ordered the Beer Battered Cheese Curds, which were just as phenomenal as they were originally, and for mains, we had the Moorish Brussels Salad and the H&P Fish Sandwich – both of which were absolutely delicious. Even the standard/sweet potato fries deserve a special mention! Service was great also and the restaurant had a warm and cozy feel – especially nice in winter. Honestly can’t wait to return and order the exact same meal! SoOo good!

I’ll be honest. I absolutely despise burgers. However, this restaurant has the BEST burger I have ever had. I only had a bite of it, but it was delicious. I got a chicken sandwich, which was also just perfection on a plate. Our server, Shannon, was extremely friendly and easy to talk to. She always had a smile on her face! Thank you for the amazing service and food!

Amazing little restaurant tucked away in the corner of The American Club. I didn’t even realize that it was here until a friend recommended meeting there for lunch. I chose the cheese curds, coffee and a bowl of soup and paid $25. The prices are high for the amount of food you receive, but the flavor was next to none. The soup was so delicious. The deep fried curds were the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommended. Definitely a place to visit if you have a larger dinner budget.
