We drove an hour and a half to try this place. The food did not disappoint. I wish there was more indoor seating. When we were there, it was over 90° outside, so everyone was trying to escape the heat, so the room was packed. The cheese steak is definitely in my top 5 right now. Portions are huge and priced appropriately. Service is quick. I will say that the policy of adding a charge to card payment automatically is tacky. I paid cash, and the price did not go down. I tipped appropriately and deducted that cc charge from my tip. It may not seem like much, but in these times, pennies make dollars. Hopefully, those fees are passed on to employees in these times.

This place is pretty busy and people from all walks of life seem to enjoy the food here. The food is pretty good, albeit a little salty. They have a huge variety of food for everyone. The cheesesteaks are huge and the brisket fries are to die for. Don’t get me started on the Mac and cheese! Yummy

I don’t have too many ways to say that this is truly THE BEST CHEESESTEAK I’ve eaten in 10 years. Small establishment. Friendly staff. Great quality meat and cheese. Onions are sliced pretty thick and chunky which is somewhat of an annoyance. No frills, just a great cheesesteak. I truly appreciate the alternate layering of the meat and cheese. I’m not certain why other restaurants don’t follow suit. The only thing I wish they would do differently is to butter and toast the bread prior to filling it with the meat and cheese. It’s a very very thick roll. While I appreciate it, it becomes to doughy. I believe toasting it on the grill would add another level to this almost perfect cheesesteak. There is a small eating area if you need to eat inside. Everything is made to order, so make sure you have enough time to wait for it or call it in ahead of time. Oh yea, you have to pay for the grilled onions and peppers separately!

I was skeptical at first but tasting is believing. I did not make a special trip here but happened to drive by it and stopped in. It is an old Checkers burger joint so it did stand out. The onions, roll, cheese, and steak were very good. It had a lot of cheese but the steak and onions did shine through and was flavorful. I am glad they had some tables inside since I would have been coated in cheese if I ate this in my car. I commend those of you than can eat this in your car and all of it. I had to take half home. They had bathrooms but awkward to ask to use them. Worth the trip out there, and recommend stopping by if in the area. I don’t rate places in any order but add them to my list of good steaks and Curleys made the list…

First cheesesteak for our spring 2023 US foodie tour. This cheesesteak is the best I’ve had in my life…so far. They set the bar HIGH for sure. The steak was chopped a bit course, which I like better, and cooper sharp cheese mixed throughout. Careful adding onions or peppers as they must be extra charge. A cheesesteak, onions, peppers and can of coke costs us $22.25. We would def go back but not order the condiments.

Employees were very friendly and I didn’t feel rushed when ordering. Got a cheesesteak and wings. Cheesesteak wasn’t the best I ever had, but darn close. I’d give it an 8 out of 10. Wings were also very good. I really liked their house-made buffalo sauce. It was unique.

This place highly recommended so we had to give it a try! Let me first start off by saying this was the BEST pizza steak I’ve ever had! The seeded roll is what does it for me every time! It was packed with meat no skimping on this sandwich!! If you haven’t tried this local gem you’re definitely missing out!
