I cant believe a Guppy Tea House still exists :’) This Guppys doesn’t look like the old locations where it was full of plants and had a chill atmosphere. It had more of a homey vibe. I think this location is a mom and pop small business where the mom was taking orders and the pop was cooking in the back. They serve everything in takeout boxes due to lack of staff. The food was still delicious though! I got the popcorn chicken medium and I loved how seasoned it was. Each bite was crispy and packed with flavor. The red milk tea I knew and loved doesnt taste the same as before but I still enjoyed it. I also tried the butter and coconut brick toast and it was my favorite part of the meal! The worker was even nice enough to give me a free scope of ice cream which really elevated the flavors!

I wish I could say something more positive about my experience today. But sad to say, not as good as it use to be before Covid times. Maybe they’re new owners?

Describing this place as serving Taiwanese food is really a big stretch. There are items on the menu that are in the ballpark, but overall the menu is not quite authentic. The noodle soup was under-seasoned, and it was obvious that the soup base was made from powder rather than real broth. I also ordered a flavored bubble tea, and it was not comparable to any other decent boba tea places in the area.

Great food, great service! We had Maira as our server. She was very attentive, very knowledgeable and extremely polite. We were there around noon. The Taro milk tea was as amazing as our service! Going back for more!

TL;DR: if you have a 99 Ranch near you, you can get the same food out of their frozen section and spend about 70% less money on your meal.

Food is nothing like any flavors I have ever tasted and not in a good way. They charge for water and serve in to -go containers. Forks are the cheapest plastic that you could form into a fork.

Ordered food delivery – beef chow mein. They brought beef stew. How could you have gotten this so wrong?? I used to love the old Guppy House…but after this, never coming back here again. Going to spread the word.

Their fried rice is great! Especially the pineapple fried rice. Milk tea is delicious too. I enjoy the laid back atmosphere, the lighting and the cool looking fish tanks. The staff is okay, they were attentive to us when we got there but after that it was harder to get their attention.

I have been going to the guppy house for years, take out orders and in house orders had both been amazing in the past but reasently take out orders are missing there lovely sides. The best way to get the really guppy house experience is to eat in now a day. Sadly I got kung pow chicken to go a few nights ago and it was not Spicy at all… they just through a butt load of dried red chilly peppers on top of popcorn chicken… what has happened to you guppy house?!

Still like before ! Haven’t been here in a couple of years . Popcorn chicken and salmon fried rice are still good and the boba is yum. They have changed the decor inside used to have fish tanks and plants everywhere we miss that it had more character. But the food is the way it tasted glad about that. Also the brick toast is a classic must have also.
