I was in town on business and they were recommended by the locals. And I can totally see why! You can get a table but I chose a seat at the bar. Service is above and beyond and I’m convinced everything on the menu is outstanding. Gotta check it out.

Waitress was fast and checked in with us often. The place is clean and the food is awesome and at a decent prices as well. Have been there 4 times now and is constantly good.

We were greeted right away by very friendly server, who checked on us quite a bit. Steak burrito was very good, and went nicely with my captain morgan. Queso was very good. Loved the spicy cheese balls, which had some good kick to them. Luckily the captain and pepsi quickly put out the fire within my mouth. They had football on the tv too. I will definitely go back to try their other items!

First time going to Lucitas and was so unimpressed I doubt I’ll ever return. The margarita was delicious but I was charged separately for strawberry and mango. I guess when I read that the margarita special was strawberry margaritas, I assumed I’d be paying the special price plus mango.

We were greeted quickly and warmly and the place was warm, however it was all down hill from there. The chips were not warmed and the salsa lacked any type of authentic flavor. It tasted like a jarred salsa. I had ordered a taco salad with beef and the meat had no flavor whatsoever. The menu noted that it would come with sour cream, however I had to ask for it once my meal was in front of me. My friend order shrimp fajitas for almost $15 and the portion size was pathetic (see posted picture). She is a light eater, however I think she left hungry after finishing her full plate. At times we were the only patrons, however we had to ask for a refill on drinks. I can say I will never go back. There are plenty of other tex-mex/mexican establishments in this town with better food, portions, and service.

The fact that they fed striking laborers from Ingredion during the winter months is enough to get my 100% support. Thank you for supporting the working class backbone of our community. It is of utmost importance that we hold on to the rights of the working class. Thank you Lucita’s!

Was surprised when my son ( vegan) asked if a dish on the menu could be made excluding the meat. He was told immediately that he will get what he gets described in the menu. No changes could be made. There wasn’t an actual menu with vegan or vegetarian options. Being a Mexican restaurant I would of thought throwing lettuce, rice, beans etc without the meat in a tortilla shell wouldn’t have been a big deal as all those options can be ordered on the side. Very disappointed that they wouldn’t even consider trying.
