No sushi this time. Their meals are soooooo freaking good. Sesame chicken spice level 4, Thai Basil Shrimp spice level 4. Chicken LoMein we purposely order to take home. Amazing!!

Champa has become my preferred destination for reliable and gratifying sushi experiences. Nestled in the heart of Hendersonville, it may not be the extravagant kind where sushi effortlessly melts upon contact with your palate, yet it offers an incredibly satisfying encounter for a casual night out.

We have eaten here many many times over the years and it is always great but tonight we did something for the first time. My friend and I completed an item on our must do list to sit at the sushi bar and order distinctive items À la carte. No doubt the most unique and most delicious dining experience I’ve ever had. Watching the shear culinary artistry is mesmerizing but tasting each carefully crafted piece of fresh salmon and tuna is incredible. This was the first of many more times to indulge in Champa’s sushi and sashimi bar.

The best Thai food in Western North Carolina! I’ve been several times over the years and it’s always good. Great value too.

Came here today at lunch, the bar area was wonderful, quiet and calm as I would love it to be. The sushi was amazing and the waiter was really attentive . I would highly recommend this place

Employees were nice but food was awful. I got the curry and a couple other things, all of it was SUPER under seasoned and the curry was INCREDIBLY watered down. If you want real Thai or any Asian food that’s actually edible, go somewhere else. They are way too overpriced for how bad the food is. See that the only positive reviews are from old yt people who enjoy unseasoned food anyway.

Me and my wife love this place. The servers are very friendly and helpful. They have a big assortment of wine, beer and handcrafted cocktails. We usually get the small sushi boat, but all the food I see come out looks delicious. I usually don’t give five stars.

I’m honestly only giving the extra one star for the nice woman who was working the night I picked up our dinner, and portion size. It’s just unfortunate that there was so much tasteless food. I ordered the hibachi chicken and my fiancé had Pad Thai. Both dishes, same story. No heat. No flavor. Just greasy. Two dinners and an appetizer were $40+ for takeout. I am not one normally to complain about prices, but for the price and the lack of quality, I wasn’t happy. I would’ve rather went to literally any other Japanese restaurant, and gotten cheaper, better food, period. Parking downtown is a nightmare to top it all off. The woman at the front desk was very polite and kind. That’s the best thing my experience had going for it unfortunately.

I would say Champa is about average all things considered. Nothing is carefully marked Vegan or Vegetarian, and they don’t appear to care about gluten-free needs either. Asian food should easily fit these requirements, so maybe they will change one day if someone tells them. There is also a lack of consistency in food preparation. I order out and I never know if the food will be the same. For example, tonight the tofu tod was thick. They frequently forget to include chopsticks, soy sauce, and napkins, and don’t allow for gluten-free or lowered sodium options to be selected on the website. I don’t even know if they are available. The tofu in general is pretty poorly made unless it’s the tofu spinach dish. Including tofu in the fresh rolls was a huge mistake. The vegetables are often thickly cut and hard to chew. It’s a mediocre restaurant. At least there’s Pan Asian cuisine. I eat there primarily due to location. The spring rolls are pretty good, so is the asparagus roll. The Thai iced tea is very good and so is the mango sticky rice.
