Mel, you have somehow made the BEST ribs I’ve ever had! I grew up close to Memphis, and experienced the worlds best barbecue during Memphis in May – World BBQ Championship. Your pork ribs sir are finer than any I’ve ever tasted in Memphis or anywhere in between far and wide. The ribs are tender, falling off the bone, yet, there is that subtle tangy moist crust holding all of the goodness together. The Mac and cheese is amazing as is the potato salad. Wow, is all I have to say and thank you for being a blessing by the awesome food you provide. Best ever.

I finally visited Mel BBQ after passing by numerous times. I had the rib sandwich, which was meaty and filling. Well-seasoned and tender, when you bite it just melts in your mouth. Four slices of bread would have been nice instead of two. I can only give 4.5 stars because when I asked if he had a hot sauce, he did mention it may not be hot enough for me. Well, he was right. If he gets that hot sauce one day, let me know
