In the wide world of RVA food trucks there exists a special nugget that is Cocina Calle. No where else can you get truly authentic pupusa. Fresh, customizable and unique. Do yourself a favor and try the loaded yuca tots!!! You’ll never want a plain tater tot again once you’ve had these square deliciousness. Thanks for a great lunch and we look forward to eating with this wonderful street kitchen again!!!

This is the best food truck in RVA. Please note that the location and hours are tagged based on a specific date. Use the link to find where they will be at any given day and time as they are out and about a lot during a given week. Cocina Calle is a Salvadoran restaurant. They serve the best yucca tots I’ve ever had. Both the savory and sweet are fantastic and a completely different taste. I also appreciated the pumpkin drizzle on the sweet tots (cinnamon sugar base). As this was our first time trying Cocina Calle, we got a variety of items – loaded tots, bean and cheese pupusa (like a savory pancake batter stuffed), house taco (pork – great toppings with a nice smoky pork), and of course the yucca tots and sweet tots. I highly recommend all items. The slaw is amazing and the medium salsa is perfection as toppings. Find them. Try their food!

Very delicious street tacos. Salsa was on point. Excellent customer service. They were about to close for the day but were very nice to cook up a couple of street tacos for me. Love the name and will definitely go back to try some of the other menu items .
