Gopchang Story is a modern and clean kbbq place where the servers were friendly and helped grill the food. I tried the assorted intestines and the crispy Korean seafood pancake with a generous amount of seafood. The intestines were delicious and even came with potatoes and you can even ask the server to add a little seasoning on top before mixing it all together. The prices were reasonable, and I highly recommend this spot for a unique and delicious Korean dining experience.

Stopped by for a late dinner since the comedy show we went to ended late. We were hankering for some Korean bbq but realized most would not be open by the time we arrived.

First time there and Grace was our waitress, she explained everything and very great suggestions. We got the Gopchang Combo and I found my favorite strawberry Soju now!!❤️❤️ Will be back again for next visit!

2022 review – Returned on a Friday night and the quality is still great. The service though was lacking. The server didn’t really do a good job with the fried rice portion and never came around to properly check in with water or side dishes.

Came here to celebrate my sister’s birthday. We had an amazingly delicious dinner. We had the pork and beef dinner pack and small intestines, corn with cheese, salad, and of course some rice wine and strawberry soju. Our server was very attentive and pretty much cooked our meal. The intestines come in their own pot/pan on a hot plate/burner. They cook a little long but also we like them crispy.

We ordered a combo for 2 people with another dish. Meat was grilled by a friendly server all at once. Thus, it got a little cold when we ate them. We couldn’t really see nor enjoy the tenderness or freshness of the meats. I would suggest to change this service as we could’ve tasted better meat with this great service.

absolutely loved this place. service is very friendly, prompt and professional. the marinated kalbi, chadol / beef brisket, cold kimchi noodles were great and honestly I stayed away as I thought it was mostly just intestines but they have an extensive Korean bbq of beef, pork and other dishes.

Beef brisket ($23) was disappointing in terms of texture and flavor. Assorted intestines ($30 for the small option) was okay. The marinated rice cake skewers can be grilled and were THE highlight of the meal… so soft and chewy and delicious. Don’t think I will go back though.

I just couldn’t believe it. It tasted like beef fat at the first bite. So I looked up. Inside Gopchang is filled with 100% beef fat and the cholesterol Gopchang contains is 4 times beef. I only had one of the round slices and gave up. So one slice of Gopchang consists of two parts. One is thin skin and the other is all beef fat surrounded by it. Unbelievable. I know this is not the fault of the restaurant as cow Gopchang is made like it before cooking in most places. I am giving 1 star just for the food I ate, Gopchang.
