Ok Country Cafe Menu – Oklahoma City, OK

Type : Restaurant

Location : Oklahoma City, OK

The Ok Country Cafe’ started as a small soda shop inside the corner dime-store in 1945. Then, in 1948, as diners were making their way into popular American culture, we moved to our current location and into a traditional manufactured diner. An instant success, the Ok Country Cafe’ continued to be a popular spot throughout the 50s and 60s.

With the revival of the diner culture in the 70s, we added on what is now our main building, including a larger dining area and kitchen, keeping the vintage diner as our front.

Based on 366 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.2 stars. Price

Appears to be under new management. They haven’t quite figured it out. Food is still pretty good but server was new and working alone. I think they can get it together and I will give them another visit in a month or so. For be prepared for slow service and messed up order.

Clean and wonderful, everyone in the restaurant was smiling, we didn’t know why, but it was pretty good here. All our food looked great and tasted even better.

Hubby and I stopped in for breakfast while out running errands. Very pleasantly surprised! We got eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns and biscuits & gravy between us. Everything was delicious, and the bacon was perfectly cooked to melt-in-your-mouth crispness. Highly recommend!

It’s seems like a typical diner when you walk in, but the service raises the bar. Excellent waitress and good food. Fair price. We will return.

They are in the process of moving to a new address. Their grilled cheese sandwich was AWFUL! but the omelet was good and their biscuits and gravy was good as well.

My gravy was like water, no taste. Said made with water and flower no sausage taste whatsoever. Salt and pepper could not fix it.
