My first time in Red Lodge, someone told me Black Canyon Bistro was great, it lived up to the recommendation. I sat at the bar and had nice drinks but the star of the show was the ribeye steak, simply prepared but every bite was delicious. The atmosphere is upscale and the service matches the atmosphere.

We hired Black Canyon Bistro to cater our weekend event and we couldn’t have been more pleased!! Their food was AMAZING, service was great, communication was prompt, clear and easy and prices were very reasonable. Booking them was one of the best decisions we made for this event. I wish I’d gotten more pictures! I was too busy enjoying the meals!

The food was decent and the service was great but it’s waayyy more expensive than it should be. 7 overly large and tough pieces of asparagus for $12?! A very small plate of fries for $8?! The waitress told me they were called “sides to share” because they were big enough to share. Not even close! Fries to share would be like a basket. Not a small handful of fries. The fish was good but undercooked. I don’t really care because I like sushi but for $25 you’d think it would have been perfect!

My husband and I regret that we spent 20minute to find a restaurant. We should have come here earlier to enjoy a great happy hour 4:00-6:00 pm. Food and drink: nothing can be better!

Wow! Fantastic experience! We stopped on a whim for an anniversary lunch/dinner and we were blown away with the food, service and atmosphere. We tried the Crab cakes, the Wild Game Chili, Chicken Fried Steak and the Pasta Thermidor. All of it was amazing. They had a country singer doing originals and covers. He was very talented and was playfully interacting with the crowd. 10 out of 5 stars!

Hands down the best place to eat in town! I work service in in red lodge and always refer anyone looking for good food to the bistro. Never disappoints and the bacon wrapped dates are delicious, highly recommend. Front and back of house is amazing, very professional and all great people. Will always eat here when I know kage is cooking she takes an extra level of care that really makes a difference

All 5 of us enjoyed our meals. I enjoyed the scallops. We ordered sides to go with our main dish. Brussels sprouts and Marinated mushrooms were my favorite sides. Steak Diane appetizer was delicious. I highly recommend this high end restaurant.
