This is an unbelievably beautiful location in the Deschutes National Forest. They have a full bar, restaurant, cabins, and campgrounds. You don’t wanna skip this location if you’re driving down the cascade lakes highway. The views from the deck while sipping a cool beverage or munching on some delicious food are unmatched in the shear brilliance that is Elk Lake Resort!

This is the place where all the locals go on hot days to get into the water. And the locals can look really good sometimes when they have thong bathing suits on. Some of these girls are very physically fit and have good posture. The restaurant was nice although they didn’t have air conditioning. We sat outside next to a table or a bunch of PCT Trail hikers were sitting. Very interesting conversation was fun to listen to what they’ve gone through after hiking the trail for 2 to 4 months. We just had cocktails and an appetizer it was very good I can go back there again it was fun.

Beautiful Peaceful.. Great find.. If your looking for a tranquil place to finds yourself.. I highly recommend elk lake.. A beach in the high desert.. Float in your blow up Flamingo or paddle out on your kayak kids are entertained parents can relax…

Love all the beaches around the lake! We visited mulitple times over the summer to lay out, paddle board, catch crawfish and play in the sand. Had lunch at Elk Lake resort! I recommend Cascade Hwy and all the lakes all the time!

Nice location and views. Restaurant is overpriced. A second plate (which we did not asked for) was charged extra, w/o notification. Also, they do not know what first come first served means.
