Just had a great meal from Bamboo Garden – new owners in March 2022. Great portions and amazing flavor. I had Crab rangoon – best ever. Mongolian beef, Hunan Chicken and Chinese donuts. All delicious!

I regretfully have to leave a negative review. I have placed takeout orders three times since the new owner took over. With each order, the sesame chicken has been more and more inedible. My order before last had many inedible pieces of hard, string-like chicken. The sesame chicken that I ordered today, had zero edible chicken in it. ALL of the chicken was chewy, hard strings that had been heavily battered & deep fried and would not break down even after chewing for several minutes. In addition, the fried rice seemed smaller and harder in texture than any other I’ve ever experienced. I truly wanted to like this restaurant for its convenience, but after three tries I’m afraid their out.

Hands down the best Crab Rangoon I’ve ever had. Everything I had was really good. The sweet and sour sauce was a dark red, not watered down, the egg roll had a lot of flavor. Sadly that’s all I ordered, but I’ll be back! The new owners were so friendly.

I drove HALF AN HOUR for a stop at Tire Choice nearby. I’ve been looking for a great-tasting Chinese restaurant since moving to Sarasota for casual Dine-in or Take Out. I was STARVING. Of all the places I checked out on Google Maps, I chose this place. Upon arrival, IT’S CLOSED! I was too exhausted to drive around for another restaurant. Now I’m heading home with nothing to eat all day. It’s also no fun driving half an hour like this! I hope the day off was for a good reason!

From NYC, been in Sarasota for a year now and this place is legit NYC style Chinese food…only fresher tasting. Great clean taste. You can see everything they do in the kitchen which is a huge plus. No syrupy sauces, no dried out rice/ noodles or oily rolls. Portions are big and they don’t skimp on ingredients. Speaking of portions, leftovers tasted just as great the next day. Nice family working together behind the counter who were super attentive and helpful. Just know that there are only a few tables so it’s mostly a take out/delivery place. Awesome all around!!
