All the food was good, had the fried chicken and it was delicious. Great selection of specialty hot dogs. The real stars were the sweet dishes: the cornbread with honey butter and the hush puppies with maple butter dipping sauce. Very sweet yet savory and indulgent. Some of the best southern style food I’ve had in Boston.

Trina’s food always taste fantastic (both sober and drunk)! The staff was so friendly to my party of 10 that showed up later into the night and unannounced. If they were annoyed we couldn’t tell! I’m still thinking about “The Yellowstone” the main component of which is cowboy caviar. You gotta try it! The only downside is that is was way too dark to read the menu and I had to use my phone to see (something I thought I wouldn’t have to do for another years ). Can’t wait to go back!

Went here for dinner on a Thursday night and did not have to wait on line. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The interior is quite dark and the music is on the louder end. If you want to see and hear the person you’re eating with, this might not be the ideal spot. We had the surf & turf, and wings which were very delicious. We didn’t like the sauces offered on the menu for the wings and the waitress suggested to get sauce on the side and recommended the starlite sauce, which was very flavorful. The surf and turf was just the right amount of food and overall delicious. The steak was very flavorful but was a little tough to eat. The fish was tender but could have used a little more seasoning. Would come back to try their burgers and hot dogs next time.

Went here for dinner. Arrived at 530 and got the last table. Would recommend getting here early to not be disappointed.

I’ve been here several times and I always enjoy myself. My personal favorites are the Starlite-Style Dog, Fried Chicken, and the Rockin’ Chair cocktail served cold. If you do have a choice on seating and it’s not boiling or freezing outside, the patio/outdoor seating is the place to be.

Funky neighborhood bar/restaurant with creative bar food. The menu and specials switch up but as far as vegetarian food I love the southern corn fritters with lavender sauce, sweet potato chips, and the vegetarian hot dogs. Open late night with good vibes!!

Absolutely my favorite drink spot in the area. Friendly staff, great music, and delicious cocktails. They have a rotating cocktail menu so there is always something new to try!

I’ve been going to Trina’s for over 12 years at this point. They’ve changed a lot over the years but they always have top notch drinks and at least one veg item on the menu. Well now they have a host of vegan items! I did the pick 3 veggies combo and got the roasted roots (good), curry cauli (great), and mint pea salad (OUTSTANDING!) off their new menu, and I was more than pleased. I dream of that mint pea salad! Which didn’t look or taste like a salad at all.

I loved everything about this place: food, drinks, staff, vibes! I found this oasis while on a vacation we friends. The Fried Chicken meal was tasty, affordable, and shareable. We loved it so much that we visited twice during our stay! Before we knew it, we were there for 2-3 hours each night. I’m happy to support this LGBTQIA+ establishment as well. I would definitely go back and recommend to friends in the area!

The service and drinks for brunch were fabulous. I got the mimosa, cornbread and chicken and waffles. The waffle was so dry and bland, I had a hard time trying to eat it. Even dousing it in syrup didn’t help. The chicken was amazing, which made the disappointment from the waffle so much more distinct. I’ve heard other food was better. My partner got the brunch burger which he thoroughly enjoyed, so I think it was just the waffle. Avoid that. Enjoy the drinks, like the mimosa and bloody mary!!
