We were on a memorial ride for my best friend Sue’s birthday in heaven , we stopped here for a couple beverages, about 60 people all ar once , the bartender was great , very accommodating . It was a nice place , cold beer , good prices.

Affordable, quaint, West Virginia establishment. Great service, good atmosphere! I met several of the locals who were very kind and friendly. The Monday night Burger and Beer special was delicious for only $6! There is a dance floor, pool table, and a back patio. Much bigger inside than it appears.

We came to WV for Blackwaterfalls and happened upon this place one night. The people there were so kind and friendly with a very laid back atmosphere that we ended going there 2 more times during our 5 day trip! Food was good, great drinks and even better company. If we ever go back to the area we will definitely be stopping in here again!

Evidently this is where the Thomas locals go. Looks possibly sketchy from the outside, but really nicely decorated and fresh on the inside. Bigger than I thought. Decent selection of bottle and can beers along with the usual hard liquors at great prices.There’s a separate little room with a well-maintained pool table and equipment for 75 cents a game. Friendly staff and patrons. Live music.

We stopped here on our way to Blackwater Falls State Park for lunch. Great place, awesome small town atmosphere. The owner Gary greeted and welcomed us like he knew us. We liked it so much we went back later that night to shoot pool. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

The ownership at this establishment has changed hands several times, but I have never had a reason to complain. I always look forward to home cooked meals when I visit and I happen to be hungry, especially arriving from DC. The billiards table is always fun. The service is great and everything is very reasonably priced.

My dad moved to Thomas a couple of years ago. Have passed Country Roads many times, finally stopped. They had special of BBQ ribs & 2 sides. Ribs were ‘fall off the bone’ perfect & ‘killer’ flavorful. Coleslaw very good & baked beans outstanding. Roll included AND a slice of iced lemon cake. We did take out & ate near the dam. The portions were large enough that I had to take some home.
