Seafood Ketch truly exceeded my expectations in every aspect! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the warmest and friendliest staff. Their genuine smiles and attentive service made us feel instantly welcomed and at ease.

As visitors from out of state we made our way away from Bar Harbor looking for a more authentic experience. It was cool to see a working harbor and it made a great back drop. It felt maybe a little more like “real” Maine. The food was fresh and yummy. Waitresses were all friendly. I had my first vegetable in 3 days and was super grateful for plain ole fresh green beans.

Small town family atmosphere with the luxury of a oceanfront view! I can’t express enough how lucky I am to have such an amazing eatery to take my kids to right here in my own “backyard” I took my daughter here for a daddy/daughter dinner date and everyone from the owners to the waitresses are absolutely the best you will find in all of MDI. Our waitress was outstanding. I highly recommend the chicken Mediterranean sandwich and “ketch” fries and my daughter who is very picky recommends their BLT 🙂

Such a classic! Delicious Downeast fare from a long-standing, family-run business. Amazing waterfront location with the BEST sunset views around. Grab a table outside to watch the lobster boats and harbor life, or snag a seat at the awesome new bar.

Stopped here randomly on one of our drives around on vacation. In my experiences I’ve had dining in Maine, this place wasn’t the best. The service was good the girl was very friendly and fun. We sat outside which was a choice and the view was awesome but there was a really bad smell of sewage out there and being that this may not be something that can be controlled I’m not even going to take that into consideration in my review but I had to mention it because I was not the only person commenting on it, other diners were complaining as well. I had a lobster roll with fries. Fries were great, the tarter sauce was so good I could have drank it lol, lobster roll was decently portioned and this is probably my fault but I was really wanting a warm butter poached lobster roll and it was cold with mayo and lettuce. The roll was awesome the lobster just didn’t have any flavor unfortunately and this is because of the way it was made. It it were warm I’m sure I would have rated it a 5 out of 5. My boyfriend got fried seafood platter and he said that it felt like it was just frozen seafood which we wouldn’t expect in Maine we would expect that back home. Very cute little restaurant with a wonderful view and very nice service, just not in my top favorites.

Finally had a chance to visit, and was very happy! We had a beautiful evening on the porch – and when it got a little cold for my Floridian blood our sever Lindsey let us move inside. The kids played in the rocky beach (that she recommended) and it was so nice to have them busy, while my husband and I waited for our food. It was a fun night, and we will be back on our next trip.

Good place to stop by and get some food. Their soup was very good. The lobster roll was good, too. Spinach and artichoke dip was ok. Food is overpriced. One good thing about this place is outdoor seating with beautiful views.

This escargot was absolutely divine. The bread was very soft and the butter was moist. I also tried the fried calamari and shrimp. As a traveler from New York, my wife and i definitely like the ambience specially sitting by the water. The waiter was super nice and he told recommended us the fried seafood. His name is Brian, I believe.

Seafood Ketch was such a great find! The food was absolutely over the top delicious. The Stuffed Mushrooms were phenomenal with the individual flavors of the oil, mushroom, and seafood stuffing mix standing out individually as well as blending wonderfully.
