I really appreciate the creativities in your sushi rolls and drinks. They are carefully prepared and very delicious. Katsu tastes like mom’s cooking back home. The Sando is something very unique and indulgent but I wished the milk bread was thicker. We sat upstairs and it was very warm. However, Dan was very attentive and friendly throughout. Will be back soon.

I have never had a bad or even mediocre experience at Medo. The food is fresh and full of flavor. I came specifically for Wagyu Wednesday and it did not disappoint. Our server, Dan, was attentive, helpful, and so knowledgeable of the entire menu. Cocktails are 10/10. I would give Medo 6 stars if I could.

This restaurant is absolutely exceptional. Everything from the cocktails to appetizers, entrées, and dessert the food was incredible. In addition the staff here are some of the most friendly and hospitable of any restaurant in the area. 10/10 would recommend. Order the Katsu. The crisp is perfect. Also the matcha donuts pictured are delicious.

This was one of the best meals I have ever had. We started with the pork gyoza and potato salad and both were to die for. For sushi we had the Woodstock Roll and the Sweetheart roll, we split the burger, and my friend had the Tan Tan Noodles. The burger was the best burger I have ever had in my life. I don’t live anywhere near New York and I will be returning to Woodstock just for that burger. We finished with the green tea ice cream with red bean paste. Service was amazing, the ambience is really nice, and this was possibly the best meal I have ever had

Honestly the best Japanese food I’ve ever had in upstate New York. I lived up in the Hudson Valley for 5 years and I wish we had Medo when I was around. The rolls are amazing (my personal favorite is the Woodstock Roll), and the appetizers are an absolute must. The salmon sizzlers were incredible as was the Japanese tofu caprese. The head sushi chef Kevin is a delight, and an incredible talent. He came by with an off menu roll that was amazing. Eo, the “everything except sushi chef”, is warm and inviting just like her wonderful dishes. 100% will be returning. Great staff, great drinks, great food, and great atmosphere.

Love this place so much! The sushi is EXCELLENT. The drinks are well made and the service is great everytime I go. I just wish they were open earlier. The atmosphere is nice but the place is small and reservations fill up quick. Its nice that they offer takeout and online ordering as well. Definitely a must go if you’re visiting woodstock. 🙂
