We stopped in to have dinner. We decided to see order some salads. I had the crispy chicken salad with the homemade ranch dressing. It was delicious. My husband had the chef salad with the homemade ranch dressing. It was also delicious. The salads were huge! If you are going through town or staying in town, you definitely have to stop here.

3 of us arrived around 7:30am on a Friday morning. There were quite a few people eating but we were still seated immediately. There was a sign on the door saying they were understaffed however, we didn’t seem to notice any delays in getting our food or anything.

We ate here on 6/19/23 before we traveled to Voyageur National Park. The food was delicious and we’d definitely eat here again. Our waitress was very nice. $58 for 2 adults and 2 children.

Quirky Establishment. Plenty of Character. Feels Like a Lodge, it is a Lodge. Ambience is on point. Well Appointed and Rich In Antiquity and History. As i mentioned it to my waitress, what is the item that makes this place special food wise? Not much actually. Menu choices resemble that of a local drinking hole. Freshen it up and make it more personal. Good portions though, delightful service.

Really great place for breakfast, our server was very nice and my food was amazing. Very hearty breakfast, it definitely lived up to the name, “The Anglers Hungry Man.” The atmosphere was very good.

Busy place on a Sunday! But the employees were all very sweet and working hard as well. We liked everything we got, pancakes were light and fluffy with great flavor. Waitress was wonderful! Glad we stopped.

Beware the menu pictures. Now it is a limited menu and the prices are almost double. I looked at the menu picture and was excited about the steaks and the prices. The real menu is very limited for dinner. Went with the fried chicken that was really good. However, the price on the menu picture was about $15 and now it is $26. Do t look for a good price here. It was $70 for 2 of us: fried chicken, chili with $1 upcharge as a side and 1 beer each.
