Swordfish Grill is a casual seafood restaurant located on the water in Cortez Village. The restaurant has a tiki hut with live music, and the views of the bay are amazing. We went there on a Tuesday night at about 7:30 p.m., and the staff was super friendly and got us seated quickly. I highly recommend reserving a table online., You can even request a certain area online! We reserved the tiki deck.

It was a popular time of year when we went here. Hooooboy it was crowded. (2hr plus wait) I highly recommend making a reservation if you go here when it is busy. If you do not have reservations, you can sit at the small bar or along the rails overlooking the water and order from the bar. We did that. Staff was nice, food was great. View was pretty darn nice.

Love Swordfish Grill!! We had an amazing meal- Pokie bowl, shrimp and grits, grouper sandwich, shrimp scampi, fish tacos, fish dip & oysters. Everyone loved their meal- not to mention the great drinks from the bar- cold beers, savage lady, coconut crusher, and the special “Mic Marg!” Outstanding table service from Shawna, and Jessi at the bar!

A couple of snow birds I know from Massachusetts invited me to dinner at this waterfront restaurant. What a great vibe! From the live music to the pelicans, it has a great atmosphere. Our waitress, Delaney, was very approachable and efficient. My grouper sandwich was excellent, and my friends ordered bacon wrapped scallops and a crab cake dinner. It’s all around very tasty food. There are bars indoor and out, and even a nifty gift shop. Definitely recommend!
