Very solid Pizza. Quality ingredients and hand made, cooked in a proper brick oven. Service was acceptable but not memorable. The best part was watching the open kitchen folks make the pizzas. Spinning dough and moving the pizzas in and out of the ovens. Little pricey but worth it if you want quality pizza.

I ordered a medium pizza with mushrooms and bacon after discussing with my waitress that I despise fatty, not well cooked bacon. My pizza was limp, watery, and full of large pieces of fat. I think I paid $27 plus for this. I picked the mushrooms and some cheese off it and called it done. No box for me because it was so bad. I felt the waitress should have been better versed on their products. Too bad, other Grimaldi’s locations are outstanding.

The host looked and acted as if she did not want to be at her job. I was not immediately greeted when I walked into the restaurant and the party behind me wasn’t either. Waited for my order only to get back to my car and it was lukewarm, cheese wasn’t fully covering the sauce, and the pepperoni was missing that I requested. Overall or in general I’m going to stop giving out tips if the payment is due prior to receiving my order(s). The hostess I’m sure didn’t appreciate it and plus my order wasn’t correct nor hot in temperature. I waited for two years to come back to this restaurant during my visitation in the area. Grimaldi’s did not meet my expectations like the first time in 2021.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The food was great, the service was great and the beer was great. What more can you ask for from a pizza joint?

Great atmosphere with wine bottles made in to clusters of lights and pictures of New York landmarks on the walls. The service was a bit slow considering how few customers there were. However, the pizza and Ceaser salad were very good. Definitely worth a visit.

The food is good, the place is nice, but clean was below expectations… they gave us some utensils that I don’t know how they were not seeing how dirty it was!!! There was a huge piece of veggie stuck on the fork!!! Other than that, they have a good pizza and good price

Grimaldi’s Pizza in Mount Pleasant left much to be desired during my recent visit. The experience was quite disappointing. Our order was mishandled, resulting in two incorrect pizzas being served. Moreover, the service was severely lacking. The waitress seemed indifferent, rarely checking on us or attending to our needs. To make matters worse, our appetizer plates were left uncleared, and our water glasses went unfilled. The overall experience fell short of expectations, highlighting the need for improvement in both food quality and customer service.

Bad. I’m sorry, but bad. We waited 30 minutes for a kids pizza that was ordered before the salads. The salads came out 10 minutes before the pizza. Our pizza and calzone took 45 minutes and were very bad. The kitchen was backed up so probably rushing through orders. The pizza was undercooked and the sauce was terrible. The restaurant was maybe 60% full. Absolutely will not be returning.

The Grimaldi’s in Mount Pleasant is a spin-off of the famous one in Brooklyn, NY. We were never able to get into that one because it was basically impossible, so it was fun to stumble on it in South Carolina. The food was pretty good. The winner was definitely the white pizza with prosciutto, arugula and freshly shaved parmesan. The margherita pizza was not bad, and the garden salad was fresh enough but unexciting. The antipasto appetizer was good.
