Decided to finally give this Chicken Shack a try. It’s mainly wings and sides, so if you’re expecting full/half chicken or thighs and breast you may want to look elsewhere. Now if you’re looking for some chicken wings on steroids (not really they just look like they are) then this is the spot. They have a couple of flavors to choose from. I tried the lemon pepper which was a little under seasoned, but that’s because I’m used to them being a little over seasoned. Fried okra and fries for sides along with shrimp and catfish as separate entrees. All orders are served with a side of coleslaw and a slice of bread, but the only give you one slice so if you need more don’t forget to ask. Sauce is added to the chicken during preparation. If you’re not into mild or hot sauce then I recommend letting them know when placing your order. All in all it was a good experience. Enjoy!

Ordered the small filet dinner. Fish was perfectly cooked, fries were good. Coleslaw surprisingly good, portion could be a little more. Had the sweet potato pie for dessert, taste and texture good, however, bottom of pie was burned so I missed out on the crust. Overall, very satisfied. Give it a try!

Omg! This was my first time here and they were awesome! I called myself “trying” a couple pieces the 1st time. I ended up going back later on the same day for dinner! The staff were very friendly. Their chicken reminded me of home, seasoned perfectly, a comfort food. Loved the breading of their chicken.

I’ve been hearing about this restaurant and when I finally decided to visit today I was satisfied from the customer service to the taste of the food. I order the “Taste” where it sampled the wings, fish, shrimp and fries. Everything was good and made fresh to order. I will continue to eat from here again.

Great place for a snack or dinner! Chicken wings, catfish, shrimp, fries(not plain old tasteless fries, these are yummy), special made desserts in house like banana pudding, cobbler, krazy grapes that are like a taffy apple, specialty lemonade (with hibiscus, strawberries or lavender!). The mild sauce (not like hot medium or mild salsa but a Chicago special sauce) is awesome and I recommend the lemon pepper as well. Chicken is seasoned deliciously all by itself, so no need for sauce but it’s a great addition. I got the 4 wings dinner all around for about $7 and it filled me up, great deal, good food, friendly service, can’t go wrong! Come and support a local veteran when you eat here!

What an AWESOME experience! As a first-timer, I called first to find out if we could dine in. Mahogany answered the phone. Excellent cust svc. She was so nice that I decided to go there that day. She helped us order. 10 succulent wings were cooked fresh to order and was crazy delicious. Loved the fries. Didn’t need ketchup. Then she suggested their homemade sweet potato pie. I reluctantly accepted her mini sampler because I ONLY like mine, until I tried theirs. Scrumptious! Also the owner took time to chat with us, super nice. Oh and the place was CLEAN. Even the bathrooms were super clean. I felt very comfortable eating there. Then I learned that they also have homemade peach cobbler, just not that day. I can’t wait to go back next week to try it. Affordable prices. Between the fantastic food & friendly staff, they have garnered a new customer. I highly recommend this place.

Visiting from Texas. Gotta say ordered the small fillet and it was perfectly cooked and large fillets for a small order. Flavor was on point and had a great crunch. The okra was great. Great atmosphere and very friendly inside. Definitely Recommend
