Staff is exceptional and pour a good drink. Food is decent…but being charged $8 for a 4oz coleslaw (that is from a bag) is ridiculous! If you’re going to charge me that much at least take some of that profit and buy some TVs for the bar that are from this century!

So basically I come here with my cousins for Karaoke. Lovely mix of pure talent, incredible passion and an overall warm and encouraging environment for anyone who may sing off key, but has adventurous enough of a spirit to step up to the plate; to have fun with a welcoming group that often bursts with an energy which keeps me coming back.

Excellent fried chicken, friendly staff. Chicken has excellent coating, not over-spiced. Dill dip is a must for the chicken meat, as the coating is not heavily seasoned. Chicken was fresh cooked, hot, and juicy. Some waiting required because it’s fresh cooked. Fryer Tuck side is for to go orders; Cider Mill side serves sit down and is also a busy sports bar. Highly recommended.

We did take out of chicken, beans, spuds & dill dip. We have patronized this location for over 20+ years. We got our chicken home & immediately sat down to eat. I noted the dill sauce was not cold. We paid extra for a chicken breast. The chicken breast was dry and my piece did not have alot of meat. That night I got sick and threw up. I called the restaurant, Victor, to tell them. Victor wanted me to bring in the chicken, andnat least 1/2 had to be left and then he might credit me or cook me another order. I explained we had limited time we were working in Salem at the state fair and he kept not understanding. We didn’t want chicken in the middle of the afternoon. My husband dug bones out of the garbage and the dill sauce packed up and was going to stop on his way to relieve me in Salem. He ran out of time. I said forget it. We are now done with Fryer Tuck chicken. I didn’t make up I got sick. I never would have called to complain about the chicken until multiple things came into play. We paid $31.00. I gave Victor my phone number and he never called. I understand he was on the defense. I mentioned I ate the dill sauce and my husband did not. He wanted to question if I had put it next to warm things. They packed the take oit we didn’t.

This pub has a really good fried chicken! I haven’t dined in before but have gotten the chicken a couple of times and it’s a hit. Comes with this “dill-icious” dill ranch dip! The chicken could use a tad more seasoning but this late night grub hits the spot!

If you like those out of the way dive bar places that only the locals know about this is the place for you. They are known for their chicken but they also have awesome potato salad and wedges. We had both the dill dip that comes with the fries and ranch. The dill was a little too much on the mayo side for me.

We got take out for a small group. The fried chicken was some of the worst I’ve had. It was incredibly dry. The seasonings were good but the chicken was almost inedible.
