Cafe De Khan makes you reminiscence about Karachi’s culture the minute you walk in the door with their decor highlighting snapshots of Tariq Road and family history, a dedicated iconic poet wall and the bazars of Karachi with displays of bangles, literacy books among other trinkets – attended a private iftaar buffet gathering – every food item was delicious , well seasoned with robust Karachi flavors – Enjoyed the Pakoras, Spring Rolls, Cream fruit chaat, Nihari, Chicken Tikka, Seekh kebabs, and my personal favorite. The Afghan Mutton Pulao . The place got filled up pretty quickly, and their attentive staff were re-filling dishes promptly. Had a wonderful dining experience – Absolutely recommend everyone to give them a try.

I love this place. The owner, the chef, and all the staff are all very lovely people. For this particular visit, my mom asked what beef nihari was. One of the staff brought the chef to explain what it was and he also recommended Pakistani dishes for us to try. We ended up ordering Beef Nihari, Mutton Kunna, Chicken Biryani, and Buttered Naan.

Had a really great Iftar buffet. Everything was delicious and worth the money. Owner was very kind and was making sure everyone’s having a good time. He himself poured Rooh Afza to each and every table. Very rare thing to see in Desi restaurants.

Restaurant is above average, however charges are comparable to the best Pakistani restaurant in Dallas. Prices compare to BK Khan and Mai kolachi.

We were looking for halal desi and stumbled upon this place almost by a process of elimination. Plenty of easy parking. New’ish place, clean and very nicely set up. It’s organized a bit like bistro. So you stand in the line to place your order. Then find a table and food is brought to your table.
