I’m a truck driver and happened to stumble across this place by coincidence while driving through the backwoods of Missouri, I seen them out of the corner of my eye & made the quick decision to stop in for lunch & now I can honestly say the only disappointing part of my experience there is knowing I live 1,000 miles away & might not be able to come back someday, it’s by far some of the best if not the best BBQ I’ve ever had and I highly recommend it to anyone with the opportunity to swing by, the service was excellent and I look forward to coming back if given the opportunity

This place is the real deal! Great BBQ! We had the special and it was a lot of food and all wonderful! Brisket, pulled pork, ribs and turkey were all cooked perfectly. The beans and coleslaw were good also. All around an A+!. The owner and staff were very courteous and friendly. We will definitely be back when we are in Hamilton!

Great service to match the great food! Will definitely be back! Delicious fall off the bone ribs and the best Coleslaw and Baked Bean’s I have ever tasted and I have had many people in my life tell me their bake beans are number 1 in there county or city and none tasted as good to me as theirs does! Same goes for the coleslaw. I know I probably shouldn’t brag on these two items but I find most places either have good beans or good coleslaw but never both. The BBQ was excellent and so were the sides is what I’m trying to say. The owner and his sons are too notch in my book! I can’t wait to go back!

A great place to drop in for a quick BBQ or carryout. The ribs were very tasty! The turkey had a great smoke flavor. Only 2 sides available, baked beans or coleslaw. Seating is limited, but there are outside tables as well. I will definitely be going again!

We stopped here on a Saturday evening during our visit to Missouri Star Quilt Company. The owners were on site and were very nice and friendly. Two of us ordered the 2 rib dinner, one us us ordered the brisket sandwich and the other ordered the pulled pork sandwich. We all ordered dinners which included beans and coleslaw. Everything was delicious! The ribs cut with a fork and the meat was piled high on the sandwiches. Because the owner thought our ribs were short on meat, he brought us out 4 more ribs! Needless to say, we devoured them as well. The building is small, but there are seats inside as well as out. The smoker is at the side of the building, so everything is fresh. The brewery down the street has Hanks and Tanks offerings in their menu and they will deliver there, as well. Don’t pass up a chance to stop at this great place.

Awesome food. Their barbecued pulled pork sandwich was so good we decided to come back the next day where we had the barbecued pork ribs and the barbecue brisket. Baked beans were out of this world and the coleslaw was delicious. Very friendly owners and Pops.

Fantastically delicious dinner consisting of a smoked turkey breast sandwich with sides of beans and coleslaw. Moist and flavorful Turkey breast piled on on a roll/bun. Top 3 I’ve ever had. Beans were best I’ve ever had . Coleslaw was good too. Family run business with owner making sure your meal was top notch. I am a new and soon to be loyal customer. Would recommend to anyone.

My family and I flew and drove 3,890 miles to get to Hank and Tank’s BBQ. We were not disappointed and tried everything on the menu. The ribs, pulled pork, pork loin, turkey, brisket, slaw, beans and cold Dr. Pepper were absolutely phenomenal. I lived in Missouri for 20 years and worked in a few BBQ joints and these places don’t even come close to this venue on top of their exceptional customer service. I left MO and entered the Naval Service for 30 years and traveled the United States and overseas and when I came back after retirement, this exceptional BBQ business was strategically placed and setup in Hamilton. I wish this family-owned business the best success…bottom line, you have to try the best BBQ business in MO!
