The service and food had improved over the last 2 years. At one time, I would not have recommended to even stop at this location. They are getting better. It’s not my first choice. The food is relativly consistent and the service is about what you expect from a small town McDonalds. The only detractors is that they do not keep their dinning room open throughout the day, and they do not clean their dinning area. It can be pretty dirty most days. I would only recommend using the drive through. But even then… if the dinning room is dirty, the kitchen is probably dirty too. Just something to take in account before you eat here.

We make two orders on the McDonald’s app. Since we were in Winfield we go there to pick them up. We almost thought they were closed due to only one car parked on the worker’s side and not a soul could be seen. We pull up to the drive thru and told them we were there to pick up 2 app orders. We were told to drive around. At the first window we were told they could only give us 1 order. That they have a rule of 1 order per car. We asked why and we’re told it’s now McDonald’s policy so they do not keep other customers waiting. We told the worker who was being rude and rolling her eyes at us and huffing every time we asked a question m, that we seem to be the only customers there and no one else was at drive thru. We asked to speak to the manager and some nasty looking boy came to the window that looked like he just got off a 10 hour work day at a car repair shop. He said he did not care if we were the only ones there. That he would not make any exceptions for any one. He canceled our second order but refused to refund us saying we were not charged. We showed where we were charged and then refused saying we didn’t pay because we used our McDonald’s points. We informed that we did order more and showed the charge again. We finally got the money back but lost the points we used and never got them back. We called corporate and they informed us that it was a franchise restaurant and they would have that owner get in contact with us. Three days later we get a call from Phil Byrd, the owner, saying it is policy for 1 order per car. No apologies or anything. He pretty much made us feel from the conversation that he owned all the other McDonald’s in the area and our loss of business would not affect him. For now on we will visit the Vernon store who is owned by someone else. It is not McDonald’s policy for 2 order per car. That is his policy.

Ordered food totaling ($44.54) online, get there, I’m told they can’t make or sell the some of the items offered through the app for their store, then they take off those items and charge me the remaining balance (17.21) for the items they could make, then tell me they can’t give me any of that food bc it says order canceled now on their end. I show them where I’ve been charged, their response, “its not my fault”. Ask for manager, this dirty, man child comes to the window Zack Sanderson. He’s as rude as he is dirty. Ask him for the Corporate # and he says, we ain’t corporate so we don’t have a corp #. We go back n forth exchanging words about how he is representing this location as an employee and he’s just being sarcastic and rude. Finally I get frustrated and leave. Still charged money for food I do not have. I will never go back and I will be contacting corporate. And these are the same ppl who think they deserve $15-20 an hr. SMH

Every other location has their lobby open except winfield. They blame it on staffing shortages but that wouldn’t be so if they didn’t let 3 employees smoke at the same time while the drive thru is nearly to the road. The drive thru is super slow, this location can not be classified as fast food. If my son wasn’t obsessed with McDonald’s I would not even come. My son loves their nuggets and I dont see what the hype is because when I tried to eat a 4 piece it was like I was chewing on rubber. I don’t expect perfection by any means, I know working in the food service industry is tough but they definitely could up their game a little, at the very least they could open their lobby back up and clear congestion in the drive thru

This is the nastiest McDonalds we have ever seen. We arrived about 7:30 AM and the floor and tables looks like they have not been cleaned in several days. Wife said the ladies room odor was almost unbearable and the mirrors were so dirty she could barely see herself. Supply boxes sitting on the dining room tables. Will not be coming back.
