This is one of my family favorite Italian places. Family run and the owner is very nice. We ordered our food for my birthday and everything was delicious. The chicken parmigiana is fantastic and probably the best you will try on Miami Beach. They also include fresh bruschetta and baguette rolls that are baked fresh on premises.

After a long, tiring weekend celebrating my bachelorette party with my girlfriends, we were longing for a delicious, Italian meal before we headed back to New Jersey. Cafe Avanti was able to accommodate our party of 9 last minute, sitting us at a round table, where we were able to talk and enjoy each others company throughout dinner. Rubin, our server, was amazing, as was the other staff. The food did not disappoint and was exactly what we were looking for. We were so happy to have stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. It was such a nice relaxing, peaceful and enjoyable end to a fun-filled weekend. I can’t wait to come back! xo

This is one of our regular “go to” places for a casual dinner in Miami. Prices are reasonable and special requests are cheerily accommodated. The branzino is not on the menu but always available. You can always tell if a restaurant cares by the bread they serve. Avanti always has fresh bread!

Food was so good I didn’t want to leave! Even though the main chef had retired a few years ago, he still makes the desserts, so do NOT skip out on dessert– especially the Ricotta Cheesecake! Best I ever had.

Don’t judge this place on the exterior… … The inside takes you to a classy romantic setting warm soft lights and comfy seats… Ok let me stop. I’m not getting paid for this. Not lying though. The pizza was great! Steak from the salad not so much. The kid that served us? Great attitude I’d put a great mentor on him and consider him management in the future. His hair, not so much jk he looked like a Sayian so it’s all good with me. Why aren’t they located in DC? They sure feel like they should be.

I’m so glad we opted for here. Ruben was our waiter. We had decided not to get an appetizer but the way he described the special sounded to good not to get…. and it was worth it. My husband got the veal and I got the carbonara. He said his was cooked perfectly.
