I stopped by in my way back from the river. I ordered online via the app a family order of 2 spicy chicken sandwiches and 6 pieces of spicy chicken. This was at 5:54 pm. I was asked to pull forward and told my food would be brought to me. I pulled forward expecting a brief 5-10 minute wait. After 21 minutes of waiting I went into the restaurant and asked how much longer and was told 9 minutes. I let them know I would wait at my vehicle. Ten minutes later I walked in. The restaurant staff started actively ignoring me. I finally spoke in the direction of the staff who would not acknowledge me asking how much longer as I had been waiting 36 minutes. The response was ‘it’s only been 29 minutes’ like they was better. I pointed out my receipt showed 5:54 and it was currently 6:30. The staff member continued to argue that his computer showed 30. I responded ‘hey if it’s going to be much longer maybe we should get a refund.’ This employee in front of the managers said ‘go ahead then you’ve wasted 30 minutes and have no chicken’. I asked who the manager was and a woman who was standing their watching the exchange said ‘I am’. I asked are you going to allow your employee to speak to me like this? She didn’t even acknowledge the behavior and simply said ‘I can only have you wait longer’. Keep in mind I have watched multiple vehicles place orders larger than mine and be served after I had placed my order. While this exchange is going on I see an employee who has been touching the cash register and her face start handling the food without washing her hands or wearing gloves contaminating the food. Also I would like to note there was plenty of food to fulfill my order so I don’t know if they simply don’t like the mobile app orders or what but there was no reason to keep me waiting this long. I probably dodged a bullet based on the contamination they openly allow. Also as I was leaving an employee was smoking right next to the door violating the law regarding being 10 feet from the building.

I waited 30 minutes for a kids meal and shrimp, only to find out they “didn’t have it”. What they’re doing is having cars line of in parking spots and clearing the orders before actually filling them in order to make it look like they are getting orders out fast. They’re making Popeyes look bad! The main city ones would never!

Friday night and the staff was not well planned out. Some employees not doing anything at all. We waited 30 min for our order. THEN, we get home with our food and find a hair with our chicken and questionable smelling coleslaw that wasn’t even fully portioned. This place is in dire need of better management asap. Gross

Was grateful when a popeyes was opened just 7 miles from home. As has become the norm with restaurants. Food and service are not consistent. My most recent trip both were phenomenal. The trip before was absolutely horrible. They wouldn’t give me a tiny extra spicy mayo. Even if I offered to pay for it.

Chicken strips tasted old. They were barely warm hard and extremely dry. Paid 4.99 for Mac & Cheese was in the tiniest container. Fries were cold as well. This establishment needs to improve their food.

Place is a Popeyes so I’m rating more on ability to cook than the food itself. It’s good, by the way. Also had a long wait one time so they threw in dessert. Good customer service.

This was our first time getting Popeyes at this location. It was NOT our first time at Popeyes. I got a 2pc Breast and Wing Combo with Mac and Cheese and biscuit. The chicken was ok. It was just ok, not great.. But the Mac and cheese (pictured in the photos.) Was NASTY! The biscuit was burned. I am so freaking disappointed!!

Do you want food poisoning? Want to be sick and have two sick little kids? I was sick 45 mins after eating the food and my son was an hour after me. Now my 3 year old girl. I called the manager to file a complaint and there was no care. His response “we run out fryers on a timer.” This is their responsibility and they don’t care. We’ve eaten at many Popeyes and never have had a problem before. This is disgusting and not the way to start out a new location. I just want my children whole and we’ll and I hope I don’t have to take them to ER because they cannot keep anything down.

Service sucks, chicken over cooked and dry,to many times order was incorrect and had to make an additional trip back to correct order. Employee’s socializing while customers waiting. Several times including today your store has no wings. What? I will go to Portland to a Popeye’s before I coming back to your establishment. Local resident of St Helen’s. What a shame…
