We attended a friends “surprise” birthday party here last week. The waitress was attentive and courteous. The Prime Rib was, as I remembered it, excellent. We moved from the area and haven’t been here in years. I would highly recommend dining here. The décor is dated but the service & food (delicious & beautiful salad bar) are superb. Nice to see that some things don’t change.

Had dinner with 3 people Saturday night. 3 is a generous rating for our experience. We all had the seafood sampler special for $25, and were very underwhelmed with what we received. We could have gone to red lobster or joes crab shack for less and gotten bigger portions and more consistent, though not exactly phenomenal seafood. I cannot recommend this place unfortunately.

Bland food. Dated menu (both the cuisine and the physical menu). Dingy, worn out dining room. The soup tasted like it came from a can. All this for a premium. The prices are outrageous. For 20% less, I could have had better food just about anywhere. Kitchen Nightmares needs to visit this place. The only reason I gave them two stars instead of one is the friendly and attentive wait staff.

Wonderful dinner. Crab cakes and mussels were excellent. Love the large salad bar and the Mars capote berry cake was delish. Our server/bartender Cederick was excellent. He made a kickin margarita! I grew up in Rockville in the 70s so coming to this restaurant was so nostalgic and the food service and charm is still on point.
