Rene’s is a great local restaurant. I particularly enjoyed the absolutely enormous fish sandwich. If you are a fan of fried fish this is definitely for you. I found the pizza to be just okay. Only major downside to this place is a serious lack of parking.

I love this place! All the food is so tasty..they have really good tarter sauce. It has dill pickles and dill in the sauce..yum! Nice Tuesday night all you can eat pasta and meatballs $8.99. So good..plus salad and bread. Saturday 2 for $20.00. Service can be hit or miss, either I get the best server or not so much.! But great food!

Zucchini app was battered light and crispy. Probably ten pieces. We had caesar salads which were fresh. Wife had chicken parm and I picked my own pasta w a meatball. Not a disappointment in any of the food. Waitress knew what she was doing too. Price was low. We didn’t have drinks but the bar looked nice. We will go again.

With its quaint atmosphere, and photos of local celebrities & sports stars all over, Rene’s offers good quality, great prices, terrific food, and excellent service. This place is perfect for a delicious meal,anytime. The fish is HUGE; plenty to share, or take home for seconds! Menu has such a variety, with something for everybody; pizza, salads, entrees, sammies and all very yummy. Build your own pasta is a favorite of mine, or stop in on Tuesdays for the all-you-can-eat pasta special! If you live near the E. McKeesport, PA area, give Rene’s a try. You will enjoy.

Alfredo sauce was good. Waitress was great. But place is going downhill. I’ve been going here for over 20 yrs and the booths are torn apart and seems like quality is going down. I still will go because I enjoy family owned businesses but things need to step up

First time back after covid. We ordered the youghness ( dont know if this is the correct spelling ) monster fish sandwich. I asked for the sandwich to be cooked but we would assemble it at home. So everything had to go in separate containers. They did not even grumble at me for this special request. Everything was perfect and the service is even better than I remember. I’m so happy
