Fairly new place. Pretty empty when we walked in but picked up quickly. The food is fantastic and portions are huge. The ribs fell off the bone, the brisket was falling apart, and the pulled pork was tender and lean. The fries are thick hand cut, cornbread was moist and delicious. The whole meal for 2 dinners (a combo and a platter, 2 sweet teas and an appetizer) was $31 and change plus tip! And there were plenty of leftovers!! A good place for family or casual dining – great food, good price.

This is some of the best BBQ I have had in a long time. The building, and staff were all friendly and the food was amazing. I had the Short Stack burger which was brisket on a half pound burger with potatoe salad. It was so good that I ate it all and now I need a nap.

Went here yesterday and I had just the best service. They greeted me right away and told me to sit wherever. The cook asked me if I had any questions about the menu. The service was SUPER quick, though I was the only one in their. The food was amazing! I love bbq and this place is definitely on my top favorite. If I come back to this area, I will be back again for sure.

Another new experience, I tried their Carolina Mustard Sauce–I was tentative, since it was yellow and not red like a typical BBQ sauce, but it turned out to be my favorite of the four choices (which were all great) at the Short Stack Barbecue in Port Richey, FL. Highly recommend this restaurant, we ate there twice! Also, this place had one of the nicest decorated ladies’ room that I’ve seen in a public place.

A must! Great service. Quick service. Waitress was great, kept tabs on our drinks and checked in with us often. Owner was super friendly! Helped in kitchen and rounded on tables to see how everything was. Portions were large and delicious. A little on the pricey side but well worth it. We are from Missouri, will definitely be returning next visit!

Amazing!! You see a lot of Fast Food Stopps this road, but you have to stop HERE if you are hungry!! Great meat, nice people – also the Sheriff was here when we stopped, so MUST be officially good

That was a darn good pulled pork sandwich and sweet potato fries. Try the Carolina BBQ sauce and the apple butter for the fries – delish! And daily luch specials (even on weekends) is a bonus. I will be back for more.

Awesome BBQ. Just had lunch here and everything was delicious. I had ribs with fried okra and corn pudding and my husband had pulled pork and sausage with fries and mac ‘n cheese. Everything was awesome and the portions were huge. Great sauces too. We will definitely be back.
