Just a couple local boys were having a chat over a pint of craft beer @ Project Barley Brewery. As they kept talking they realized that they would love to have a pizza. One said to the other “Let’s build one! If we build it they will come”. Joe and Brent quickly began the planning and building and opened the doors for business in July of 2021. I was craving pizza and wanted to try a new spot. I found Pizza Kraft in Lomita. I ordered an order ahead of time online. When it said it was ready, I pulled in and parked. There is a small parking lot in the back. I went in and walked up to the counter. I waited for about 10 minutes until I was finally acknowledged. During my visit, two guys were working and I know they saw me standing there. After 10 mins, one of them finally spoke and said we will be right with you. After another 5 mins, he asked what can I get you. I told him I placed an online order and it said it was ready. He asked for my name and said the pizza is just about to come out. However, as I was watching them, my pizza was ready and was in the hot oven already in the box, they just forgot to make my macaroni cheese balls. So I watched them quickly throw them in the fryer. Finally, my order was ready.

Pizza wasn’t that bad. I personally like the chard taste of pizza. My kids on the other hand would not eat it. I have to admit there were a few slices that were even too burnt for my taste. (Some of the bottoms were completely burnt) the main down fall of Pizza Kraft is their amount of cheese was not to my expectations on a pizza. If the sauce shows through the pizza then I’d have to say they were skimping on the cheese.

Pizza Kraft is one of my favorite local places! Not only is the pizza always super fresh/baked to order, everyone in there is so incredibly lovely to interact with. In a world where thin crust/flat bread pizza has taken over, it’s so refreshing to have some traditional delicious pizza like the good old days. The great white pizza is my personal favorite, but can’t imagine anything off their menu would be anything less than awesome. Cherry on top that it’s attached to an awesome local brewery. Can’t go wrong with this choice, chefs kiss!

We love this place. The beer is good, great live music with no cover and excellent pizza!! All the staff was super nice. Most breweries and bars don’t have it all … great beer, great food, sweet staff and music! Also, pet friendly and kid friendly. This will be our new regular spot!

This place is great! Love the pastrami sandwich and antipasto salad especially. The pizza is very tasty with lots of yummy toppings to choose from. Best part is you can eat at the brewery next door and have a delicious beer with your food!
