Phenomenal. Romantic Italian restaurant by the sea with very good food and great service. We showed up 20 minutes before they closed. They sat us, took our order, were friendly and didn’t make us feel rushed. Also the food was amazing.

We had great service here. The food was ok. The location is great and it probably attracts a lot of visitors to Ventura. We think the food could be improved upon but definitely had a great time and appreciated the staff! We ordered: margarita pizza, calamari, puttanesca, and wine. The pizza was undercooked and the calamari was pretty basic. Puttanesca was decent. Wine was expensive and not great options. Please add the vintage to the wine list. We also had a spritz that was not good- bad proportions, way too much aperol not enough Prosecco.

I celebrated my 70th birthday in October. I was looking for Cachio e Pepe (not pictured) and found it at Spasso. It was delicious. There was 6 of us. We all got something different. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful and delicious food. We got there just after opening at 4:30 pm. The beach setting was special. The staff was attentive but not hovering.

Our second visit there and the food was as wonderful as we remembered . I highly recommend the papparadelle bolognese and the Caesar salad. 1 block from the ocean. Would have taken an after dinner stroll but it was chilly. Lovely and quite restaurant. A great find!! We will definitely return and take our friends and family.

We were only able to get take out but it was delicious! I was asked if we would like cutlery and bread before being given the food to go. That was so kind! If I’m in Ventura again, I’ll definitely go again and hopefully be able to dine in!

Very fun spot! Excellent mixed drinks. Food was spot on. Had the eggplant parmesan, prosciutto pizza, and arancini. Plus tiramisu and chocolate calzone. We were there for an event on the patio, so pretty, perfect weather!
