Taqueria Tepito has just opened a new location in Arlington off Matlock and Mayfield (next to Bamboo Pho). Santos Dominguez and his Mom Maria are serving up some killer Tortas, Qesadillas, and Tacos. Pictured below is the Tepito Torta, their most popular, and as you can see, it’s HUGE! This sandwich was full of flavor and was hard for me to fully finish. You could easily save some for later! Maria also made a special quesadilla that was off the chain! They have a little bar with chips and salsa that customers can help themselves to while they are waiting. I encourage you to give this place a try and support this family!

Start to finish good was a good experience. Great service from the cashier and the owner, we got 23 tacos so big order. Free chips and salsa while you wait. The fajita chicken and the pastor were great. The chicharron Taco was probably the best I’ve ever had.

Tiba Grill – one of Arlington’s best kept secret that I am leaking. If you want some GREAT Middle Eastern food, then visit this spot. The owner has always been so kind to me and very conversational. I ordered this special tradition Palestinian dish, makluba, for my wife’s birthday. Fabulous. The owner even called me later in the day to ask about my satisfaction of the dish. Next time I will ask for eggplant and cauliflower for the makluba but that is splitting hairs.

Great, very authentic mexican food. The owner is from Mexico City, and you can taste that in his food. Great tacos and tortas. The kitchen is a little slow. But it’s because every single plate is made fresh and from scratch. Beware that every order is a bit bigger. You only need one torta!!
